cant tame Deth'Tilac!! Help please!!

just spawned Deth'Tilac in Ysondre, and ive already try twice to down its health, but the first time it reseted and the second time i died
HELP PLEASE! im BM spec
Suggestions please?! or if youre in Ysondre, help me please

You gotta slow him down and keep letting him kill your pet. Eventually his health will drop enough that your able to tame him. However, he is still bugged and will kill you even after you have tamed him. It's ALOT easier if you have help from other hunters.

Stay calm and keep up Concussive Shot and Serpent Sting at all times. Drop Ice Traps and see if you can use a spider as your trash pet since you can use it's web (taming the yellow mob at the end of the wall is perfect since that gets rid of a possible nuisance at the same time).

The trickiest part is sending your pet in to die, then rezzing it without him reaching you. Just make sure he's slowed enough so you have time to pull it off. It's possible as BM, just have to stay focused and calm. Once he's at 20% health he will be tamable, so only send your pet in to die 8 times. As soon as he reaches that health point get as much distance as you can, use your last slowing methods, and tame.

He's finicky about kiting, try not to get too far away or behind a pillar/wall since he might reset. You can kite him back and forth down the 'corridor' there, disengaging when he reaches one end to hop back behind him.

damn, thanks a lot! tamed it! ^^ im shaking, and still cant move... but i think im ok, lol

i didnt knew that his health gets lower if he kills your pet, that was what helped me ^^

Congrats! Very happy it worked out for you.

His move Deth Strike (the one-hit kill) will take off 10% of his health when he casts it, so having friends or disposable pets as 'fodder' makes it way easier. :3

That's good to hear we helped. I helped another Hunter earlier today tame him. I just happened to come around the corner and seen the Hunter kiting him around. I of course sent my pet in a couple times and threw down a few frost traps. I did my best with trying to slow him down with my Concussive Shots to.

I had NO CLUE about the cannon fodder thing. I would have tamed Deth much faster much earlier had I known that. I would have just asked for "help" from local paladin/DK tanks and watched his health drop like a rock. As it was, it was just me and some warlock running around like nutcases trying to dps him down with no cannon fodder (well, the lock's demon died once, so that might have helped).

Grats on your new gorgeous spider. I love hearing stories about Deth being tamed instead of killed.

Come to think about it, I remember a warlock sending there pet in as well. Nice to see other players helping and not trying to kill.
