Once they arrived in Booty Bay they were greeted by little green men and women bounced around excitedly around them welcoming the passengers. Nevar smiled her spirits suddenly uplifted she loved Booty Bay and the whole pirate atmosphere. She glanced back at Kaleo's and laughed joyfully as they made their way to the inn to pick up some food and drink for the road. They were headed to Stormwind for Kaleo's had bsuiness with the king, they made their way through the tunnel leading out of Booty Bay. A blast of ocean air hit Nevar in the face and she could smell and taste the salt, she smiled - though she was a night elf she loved the jungle and the environment she found herself in. Kaleo's smiled over at her happy to see her well happy again and they set off on their trek. She and Kal chatted pleasantly as she casually tossed a leather ball farther down the road which Gotham would chase and bring back to her, he loved this game of fetch and bounced around her heels like an excited puppy. As they neared the Gurubashi Arena she and Kal marveled at the structure when she glanced further down the path to Gotham who had dropped his ball and was jetting off the path into the dense jungle. "GOTHAM!!" she screamed "BAD BOY!!!!" she charged into the jungle after him branches smacking her legs and thorns scratching her face. Kaleo's sighed and muttered under his breath chasing after the two. He followed the pawprints and footsteps under he reached a clearing and glancing at Nevar could tell she was unhappy. At first he thought it was at Gotham but then Gotham growled softly and Kaleo's lifted his eyes and soon his face read Nevar's a mix of pure anger and fury across his features.
Jungle Stalkers - fearsome giant raptors whose violet skin was said to be so tough not even magic itself could pierce their hides. The beasts had rows upon rows of razor sharp teeth that were believed to be able to pierce through plate armor and eyes so deep and menacing to be caught in one's gaze was said to paralyze the body with fear and too as a result give the beast its meal. Twenty to Thirty of the beasts were stalking in a circle advancing on a poor lone blue raptor in the middle. As he kicked and lashed out at all sides to try to fend off his attackers, they both could see the severity of his wounds.. He had a dozen puncture wounds all streaming blood and one of his eyes was swollen shut a deadly claw had hit its mark. Nevar shook and unhinged her bow from her back.."Kal..." she whispered "Who ever said these beasts cannot die is going to eat his words today!!" she cried as she unleashed arrow after arrow all glowing with blue elven magic upon the creatures. Each arrow hitting its deadly mark, Kaleo's looked down at Gotham and with a small smile stated "Well boy you know the drill, in we go!" and the two charged into the fray as one. Kaleo's hacking and slashing and Gotham clawing and biting the two took out several of the beasts and Nevar standing behind continued her arrow assault, she then ran and somersaulted over Kaleo's head landing in the middle of the raptor's standing protectively in front of the blue one. The raptors cried a screeching cry and retreated the surviving ones fleeing deep into the jungle. Nevar whirled as the blue raptor lashed out at her clearly thinking she meant it harm "Hush my friend, calm down you will worsen your wounds" she cried as suddenly the raptors great eyes closed and it fell to the ground with a heavy thud.
Nevar dropped to her knee's and pulled the great reptillian head into her lap, gently working nimble fingers over the raptors wounds. Kaleo's watched her use what little magic she ahd to try to save this unfortunate creature, "He will live..I think..if we rest overnight we cannot leave him." she nodded and Kaleos agreed quickly making a fire as night fell. Nevar worked all night as Gotham and Kaleo's sat by the fire and insisted she sleep but she would not have any of it and worked deep into the night. Morning rose and Kaleo's opened his eyes to see Nevar's slumbering form huddled protectively across the great beast, he smiled and started to wake her but before he could the raptor sat up jarring her awake. She leaped back and then came closer resting her hand upon his great blue snout and scratching lightly, the deep yellow eyes stared back at her and he opened his mouth and flicked his tongue across her palm - a low happy hum resonating in his throat. "I thank ya mon." Nevar gasped and looked at Kaleo's as if to ask if he heard what she heard and he nodded. "Who..who said that." she stuttered and stared at the raptor in disbelief - "Well ya hand be on mah nose, I think ya should know chile."
Nevar couldnt believe it as she sank to the ground and Kaleo's behind her echo'ed her movements.."A..talking...raptor...?" she whispered. "Hey now I aint just any raptor ya know. My name be Zularion an I was once a great troll warrior." "But...then how did you?..what is your story..?" Nevar asked quietly. "Well, ya saved mah life an I suppose I should be tellin ya. Some time ago i dont really remember when I went on a scouting mission for mah Mutha and Fatha - Ya see I am a Darkspear troll er I was but you get the idea. Anyways I went on this mision to make them proud I wanted my honor and I remember heading into the barrens and the next thing ya know I wake up and I'm a raptor. Me Fatha always said the good be reborn as the strong an I guess he was right - back there I just got overwhelmed a bit." He laughed a screeching laugh and grinned at Nevar revealing his teeth. "Anyways" he continued his voice seeping into their minds "I'd just like ta know they didnt forget me ya know mon? I mean they be my family an I love them greatly..but I feel I failed dem and they not gunna forgive me..I never come home..I know my Mutha worried but i couldnt tell her. Even I dont know what happened." Nevar stood and held out her hand to pat the raptors great maw "Well Zularion" she said getting down on one knee "I Nevar do here by from this day forth pledge to help you in your quest. I will respect and care for you and help you find the honor you so desperately deserve. We will together uncover your past and you will be in the darkness no longer. If that is you would like to come with Kaleo's, Gotham, and I. What do you say?" She smiled up at the great beast and felt in her heart he had no other place than by her side. He nodded his great reptillian head and once again a voice seeped into her mind "It would be my honor Nevar even if you are an elf." again the raptor threw back his head and screeched, his form of laughter. "What is our next plan of action?" Kaleos asked her and she turned to him and smiled "Isnt it clear, we're going to Durotar." and then together with her two old friends and her new one. Nevar turned to make her way out of the jungle.
