To the nameless dwarf, who I wish I could call out, you saw me and Midst sitting there camping Skarr. You killed us on purpose three times. What was the point of that? If you had just been nice about it and said that you'd been camping him for a long time or something, fine, Midst and I are nice people and would have backed off or helped. Instead, you do nothing except purposely kill us until we have a rez timer so you have a longer shot at taming Skarr. Which you failed horribly at three times. I got him in about 10 seconds and didn't die once. Whats your problems? Fail as a hunter? Oh, and love how you called your draenei buddy over there when you kept failing. Once again proves that some people need their hands held during a tame. I would have gotten it easily for Midst OR you (if you had logged into horde and talked to me) with silence shot, but no, you both had to keep killing us.

Yes, my own stupid fault for not backing up and FDing. I was more worried about Midst losing the tame she'd camped for OVER A WEEK, and today was her bday and her best friend died, so excuse me for wanting to cheer her up a bit. Instead a loser like you comes in and ganks a tame that Midst has tagged and I had silenced. We did all the work, you got the tame. Fucked shit, man. I reported you also, again for exploiting a bug and griefing. Ally or not, I have ally toons and you could have logged onto your horde toon. I know you on my ally toon and I know you have horde toons. There was no excuse for what you did except that you are a dickhead.

Again, sorry if that offended anyway, but today is the day of douchebags on my server. This is the first day where I have lost 2 tames I was trying to help others get. I feel awful.

wow what a jerk. Ive only ever done that to save karkin/skarr from being killed. If a hunter is trying to tame it I leave it alone. If hes trying to kill it.. oh yah its on!!!!!!! But if say a DK is trying to kill it.. I wont be so nice

I am usually a pro at finding rares for people, but today is not my day. I have lost 2 tames, and it stings! I am known as the hunter-camper-helper and I even have my own channel RareCampers for people wanting certain pets.

People are jerks!!! Blizz needs to do something, and FAST. For example, Rare, TAMEABLE mobs that have a somewhat longer spawn time cannot be killed and do increased damage at 1 hp, so griefers can get their faces eaten for trying to be jerks.

i had a comment here http://www.wowhead.com/npc=50058#comments (about 5 or 6 comments down for Terrorpene) thats gotten uprated to around +58 or +59 so far. I'll post this on all the new rares within the next few hours when I have some time. I'm hoping that even if it informs only 2 non-hunters to let these rares be, it'll still be considered a success.

This is a rare and sought after hunterpet. He only drops a Tear of Loyalty that vendors for 25g, but I bet if you ask in general chat or so, hunter's will gladly tip a few hundred (perhaps thousands) to tame this Fire turtle. I say this outloud because I have seen a couple of non-hunters camping him unknowingly thinking that he's part of some achievement or will drop a nice Cata-blue.

~he is not a spirit beast, he is a part of the turtle family and operates just like any other turtle, thus any hunter may tame him!

Please if you see him up and you're not a hunter, do a /who hunter hyjal or something, they will likely be very grateful and they should tip you nicely for being nice to them

Please if you are a hunter who gets a /w from someone asking if you would like him... TIP! Make sure to tip at least a couple hundred gold for someone being nice and letting you know about his whereabouts

I tipped a warlock 2k for helping me tame Dethtilac. Neither of us knew that saccing pets reduced his health, so it was a long, hard tame and took 45 minutes (my dps sucked, and so did his) but it was worth it. He earned his 2k twice over!

Nice! Done, added on the front page on all 10 rares. Hopefully that'll inform some people at least.

I would hope that MOST hunters would tip if someone would alert them to a rare pets spawning, or tip if any random person helped you tame a rare pet. I remember dishing out about 1500g total (500g 3x) to 3 players when they kept trying to help me tame King Krush back when taming was a 20 second cast.

I think if we can get to the point where its almost assumed that a tip would come to non-hunters (kind of like when you have someone do a enchant for you) ~ may it be 100g or 1000g, I think that would end a lot of the ignorance and the griefing out there.

I'm sure most WOW-jerks would rather have 1000g than to kill a rare in front of a hunter (maybe not for some).

I tell them the truth. I don't have the 2k on me, but I said it in general with many witnesses and you can report me for scamming if I don't give it to you. So people always trust me to pay up, and I always do.

i'm not saying it HAS to be 2000g, heck it can be even 50g. Just the main part of tipping is the principle, I would gladly help a difficult tame for 2000g and for 50g just the same. Tipping just shows to me that they other person really appreciated it

That, I'll definitely agree to. If someone helps me in any significant way I'll offer; many will turn it down, in my experience.

I think tipping is good but I hope people dont expect to get tipped, sometimes its nice to do a nice thing for someone even if you dont get paid for it or thanked... though thanking is nice... even if its the oppossite faction, dont need a pat on the back but you know a little thank you goes a long long way.

RareCampers does it again! Another happy Deth rehoming story! Used the channel we made, and a hunter rushed over to get Deth, allies were there, but trying to tank him (?) and this guy gets his Deth that he'd been wanting so long. I'm glad I could make another hunter's day! RareCampers is back in business! Not without people calling me asshat though. Saying I pick and choose friends to tell about the rares, which is NOT true. We advertise the channel and invite anyone who wants to join, so its not friends, just hunters wanting rares and willing to have others camp for them.
