Banny at Last!

So after seeing Banny get killed twice right before my very eyes, things finally took a turn for the better today! I ported out of the Molten Front to go turn in Additional Armanents and then NPCscan blares at me... It was Ban'Thalos! Someone offers to pull it down then asks for help to kill it! I told them in General chat, " Please don't! He doesn't drop any loot! " and then they say oh okay but they offer to pull it down so I said to do that please. They pull it down but then I realize I'm in MM spec! I quickly change to BM, pull Banny off the Mage, freeze trapped him and then casted tame beast... 3... 2... 1... Banny ran to my side! I tipped the Mage 350g and thanked her... He's a beauty!

Banny is gorgeous. I just got a new computer, and thought he was gorgeous before, but I logged in after setting up the new computer and summoned all my pets and Banny was SO bright. :3

Yep... He's nice. Next on my list, Magria. I think I might work on my drawing skills while I park my character at her spawn point... Or maybe Madexx. So hard to choose!!!

Congratulations man!! I've seen you before, we're on the same server I'm Britany. I'm going to be camping Magria myself, as she's the last of the 8 spirit beasts I want (I don't want Arcturis ). If you want to tame Madexx, I know my guildie got the brown one about half an hour ago. It's always an awesome feeling to tame a pet you REALLY want. I saw Ban'thalos and Skarr spawn 3 times before I got them!

I tamed Banny yesterday as well. I was on my way to do Molten Front dailies and I decided to look up to see and there he was. I whispered all horde hunters in Hyjal to ask if anyone wanted him; one didn't answer and the other one said yes but never showed up. So I see a night elf trying so I decide to help her (since I didn't want him originally). She would fly up to tag him and I'd lay a trap so she could lead him into it. She died at least 20 some times and gave up. Then another night elf came to try and failed a bunch.

Eventually there was no one around even trying, just a big crowd staring up at him. Fearing that someone would kill him I casually mentioned it in guild chat and a guildie asked if I'd like help taming it. We grouped up and he flew up to tag it and lead it down. For some reason I couldn't get aggro from him since every shot kept saying "immune" (is that a bug?). Finally my guildie died and I trapped and tamed. Didn't want him originally but once I had him I saw how gorgeous he is. Now if only BM hunters were competitive in raids so I could use him
