Good things come back to you indeed...

Unread post by meepitco »

Today, I had rehomed Skarr to a fellow hunter ^-^ So after I finished my dailies, I was bored out of my mind....and decided to farm Fel-Iron.....and I remembered Gezzarak was tameable again.
I farmed enough Dust/Time lost scrolls to summon her, and I did...that's when I started to get worried. I remembered she does a horrific knockback that interrupts your tame. Placing back to tree, I started tame beast, and then the knockback happened. I pop my marco I use for everything:
/use Potion of Speed
/cast Deterrence
/cast tame beast
7 seconds later, the purple warp stalker shrunk, and (immitating Warp Stalkers) went GAHHHHHHHHH. I now have my awesome pet, and I am happy that she, and the other rares I have, will probably throw a party in my stables....*imagines Terrorpene...* ehh, maybe not..

My precious *pets Purple Warp Stalker*
And after that, I went to get my purple illidari tabard to match ^_^

Terrorpene will just give her a mean look and try and burn her. But she is so pretty. I want Gezzarak. =(
Part of Dark Magics, lvl 25 Horde guild, casual, helpful, don't raid, mostly help people and hunt pets.
Part of Dynasty, lvl 25 Alliance guild, casual and hardcore (your choice, no one forces you to raid, but you can), very helpful
Come on over if interested (Runetotem US, Horde name Sarantha, Ally name Ellysetta or Valeraud)

It's actually pretty simple to tame her as a level 85. Just farm dust (or buy if cheap), do quests for potion, use potions to farm scrolls, after that, clear area, and summon her (if she dosnt summon, you're probably going to have to try again. I luckily got her on my first try). Tame beast first, let her knock you back, then pop the all in one marco I use, and BOOM, spiffy pet for you ^_^
Although, Blizz needa make more Stables for us, mine are pretty full x. x

>_________________> I died at level 80 trying to tame Gezzerak. However, my second attempt was successful. Don't hate on me! XD

She just did something funky and I was like "O_O," and died. I guess she surprised me considering she's a level SEVENTY elite. XD

@Kirsten: She was a difficult tame for me, because there were a few horde in the area. But bring speed potions, and remember the all in one marco, you're golden ^-^
(Marco IS proven to work on Skarr, Karkin, Deth (when he is at 20%) Banny, Ankha, Magria)
@Aeladrine: Thanks! I had to tame her, JUST in case Blizz decided to make her "un-tameable" again. *slowly pats Gezzark* Yes Mr. Bond?

Macro? And I know! I didn't realize I needed one until I was like "Oh helllllnooooo."

Haha, I tried to tame her without a marco, and kept dying. I remember vaguely on how I tamed Skarr, and brought out my marco. Do Tame Beast first, then marco after she pushes you back. Very very simple indeed.

Last time I did the summon, you get to choose who you summon. so you can choose to summon her again if you fail or she gets killed. Which is great for me because I HATE farming.
