I GOT HIM!!!

Holy Crap! My hands are still shaking..lol. I GOT SKOLL!!

Today of all days! This is awesome! My main acct is going inactive (as of today) for a few days (or weeks) until I can renew it. I had just told my fiancee the other day how awesome it would be if I could tame him before my acct went down.

With the clock ticking down, I decided I would at least give it one final attempt. Skoll was my first choice but I'd head to Sholozar Basin also to check up on Loq. Went there...no go. There was a lvl 80 troll hunter with an un-named Loq so I figured missed my chance. Oh well, that's the roll of the dice. Decided to head over to Stormpeaks and did my rounds...still no go on Skoll. I just happened to notice that SilverDragon had somehow been deleted so I logged off WoW...hit Curse to DL SD and then log back onto WoW. Again did my rounds...still nothing. I just happened to pause to take something away from my dog. Glance at the screen and the mouse was hovering over the mini map...and ...There was Skoll's name..

Had to be a mistake. Right? After all SD didn't even so much as ding. Deciding I had nothing to lose, I turn my Gryphon around and low and behold..there was the blue wolf I had dreamed many many weeks of taming..just walking around as if there wasn't a care in the world. I freaked..lol. I unsummon my Gryphon in mid-air and land right smack dab on Skoll...of course NOW SD decided to go off now that I'm standing on the wolf! :-/

And sure enough...this beautiful boy is now mine. Kinda surprised what an easy tame he actually was..lol..I was expecting something like the horror stories like King Krush...lol

Anyway..Her's my boy...now all he needs is a name...

(also for anyone keeping track of spawn times. He was tamed April 1st on the Farstriders realm at 5:08am beside the metal plate on the Foot Stepps over looking Burm Village)

Edit: April 1st...April Fools...maybe I should find a name dealing with jokes or fools. Joker? Jester?

Gratz! I know exactly what you're feeling righ tnow. I had been looking for Skoll for quite a long time and one day I logged in and my npcscan was going wild! By the time the screen loaded, Skol and I were face to face. He was literally licking my nose. I agree taming him was quite easy. I figure since he makes it so hard to find him, his little gift to us is not putting up much of a fight. lol Gratz again!

Thanx for the congrads guys Lol..it's been over 12 hrs and I'm still buzzing from finding both my new companions. I can't wait until my acct is up and running again and I can let them strut their stuff!

I legitimately missed him by 2 min... Went afk at the Brunhildar Spawn to eat, come back after NPCscan went off... Another hunter just tamed him, flew away and was bragging on General... (Skoll that is)

Lol, i actually had my Prairie Dog out, and managed to make him spawn... Just, while i was afk >.<
