Pet looks diffrent on Character select screen than in game

Unread post by SibealAD »

Has any one else had this issue before? I tamed one of the pink and blue warp stalker looking pets down in Vash'jir and when I went to the loading screen it was kind of an olive green with blue stripes. It has that look in the window for the stable as well, but when I pull her out she's back to being pink and aqua blue again.

That occurs for pets that were once colour changers but later became a single stable colour.

Originally the Vashj'ir warp stalkers alternated between the blue and green skins. The green model must have been the default or base colour used for the NPC so it still shows up in preview windows despite the pet itself remaining blue at all times.

Your warp stalker is assuredly blue, however the model will show the old base green colour on places like the character screen and such.

I made a list for pets with this behaviour: http://forums.wow-petopia.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=9311 The issue is known, I'm guessing it might just not be something on a high priority list to be fixed at the moment.
