Most horrible instance per expansion. (MMO Copycat)
I saw this over on MMO Champion's forums, and thought it might be interesting to do so here. =P Basically, you give your input on which dungeon you hated the most per expansion, and a little info as to why that would be your choice.

Vanilla: Blackrock Depths. Got nothing to do for 5 hours? This was a good time waster.
Burning Crusade: Black Morass. Lets introduce a timed event that you CANT SPEED UP.
WotLK: Halls of Stone. Hurry the hell up Brann. /twitch
Cataclysm: Grim Batol. Half the time you get people being lazy on Dragon bombing runs. So it seems to take an exceptionally long time to get anywhere when your having to kill *all* the mobs from 80%+ Health.

Vanilla: I love them all honestly, but the worst for me is always purple or orange Maraudon. I love center however.
Burning Crusade: Once again I really like them all, but I guess Auchenai Crypts because it only has two bosses.
Wrath: I don't really care for either of the 'draks.
Cataclysm: The first one in Vash'jir I do not like that at all. Underwaterness/giant octopus o3o

Vanilla: I didn't really mind many of them... Well except for Maraudon. God I hated that one.
Burning Crusade: I remember always dreading Mana-Tombs. I don't remember why exactly...

Vanilla: Gnomeregan, for sure. Never liked the appearance, or the confusing route, or anything about it. I still sigh out loud when I get queued into it on a lowbie. Ugh, just hate the place.
Burning Crusade: Hrm, I can't really pinpoint my least favourite. I didn't like any of the Auchindoun ones really. Mana-Tombs and Auchenai Crypts might be the ones I disliked the most.
Wrath of the Lich King: Halls of Stone and Halls of Lightning, for sure. I loved all of the other WotLK instances, but those ones were just always so meh about getting.

Ugh, this is hard to do, since everything got a lot easier in hindsight....
Vanilla: I'd still say BRD. Epic though it might have been, there was basically no chance of a pug completing the instance. Ever.
Burning Crusade: Shadow Labyrinth, though if we're counting heroics, MANA TOMBS. Shadow Labs sucked on normal as well as heroic, but god, I hated heroic Mana Tombs with a passion.... Also, Caverns of Time: Hillsbrad's quest design that meant people lost the escort quest chain halfway through was a pet peeve.

Vanilla: Strat and Scholo, but now i love them to death, before it was the issue with them being undead :S But now its just plain out Maradon, and was always Maradon in vanilla
TBC: I think it was Mana Tombs, whichever one had Etherals in it, i dont like them, no one ever did the quest with me so my escort always permanently died for that run when one person says 'sure!' and i summon up and everyones like 'no!' -_-;;
WotLK: Utguard Keep. Utguard Pinnacle. ANYTHING WITH VYKRUL. Only vykrul i like are the frosty blue ones in Storm Peaks >_>;; Azjol'nerub and Ahn'kahet were actually not that bad for me, i hated bugs to death in my earlier years but i was fairly alright with WoW bugs in dungeons, but oh god did it take me a long time to quest in Silithus..
Cataclysm: Deadmines. For one thing only. Spiders. Not the new models of spiders, the old ones, the vanilla ones. Arachnids are the one thing i actually avoid in WoW that have an exoskeleton. Bugs i can do fine with, scorpions? They dont even look like bugs to me! Spiders? I will never truly love an Arachnid i think, well actually no im sure i will, i have a soft spot for the WoW tarantulas but the old world Spider model, and to be huddled in a corner cowering, well, Helix scoot on over casue im joining you, i too am terrified of the fact your surrounded by possible a hundred or so Spiders of all different sizes and your in a CORNER with nowhere to RUN and even the small ones become as large as your SCREEN as they ATTACK YOU. *shivers and hugs her Brilliant Macaw* thank god that the spiders dont appear in reg. deadmines....

<.< You weren't part of our terribad run last night! That's the one we were doing that I was complaining about... I will admit that while I don't hate it (I better not.. I want the draggy), the giant boss is DEFINITELY one of the top 2 or 3 worst bosses in Cataclysm if the tank doesn't know what they're doing... "Oh look spikey things. BC: To be honest, I didn't run many BC instances. There was one heroic in HFP that was almost impossible unless you had a paladin tank; I remember hating that one because I had capped my Honor Hold rep through questing but couldn't convince anybody to run the instances with me unless I could recruit a paladin to tank it.
Wrath: Halls of Reflection. Too many bad PUGs experiences in that one. I'm not sure I ever tanked the gauntlet successfully.
Cata: Grim Batol. Had too many bad experiences in there the first couple months, the worst being a two-hour wipefest of a PUG that never even got to the final boss. I always dread it when it comes up as a random, and am always surprised when we curbstomp it in 35 minutes....
Vanilla: probably Gnomer. I always got lost in that place. I went back at level 80 to farm up the engineering pet schematics in there, and got lost again. Grr.

Vanilla: UBRS. Felt like I was trapped going there for different things. Plus no one ever had the key so half the time you'd spend hours trying to find someone to let you in.

Cataclysm: Deadmines. I don't think there's any other instance which has killed me so frequently. Plus you never get out with the same group you went in with because no one else can stand it either.

I have a little bit of an intricate nature when it comes to doing instances. When I'm lvling a new character, I HAVE to complete the WHOLE dungeon at least once, whether I hate it or not, or else I feel as though I really didn't complete it.
Vanilla: Maraudon, Just because it seemed to have absolutely no 'Flavor.' Just could never get into it. But I still died a little inside when they let you bypass Purple and Orange to get to the center.
Burning Crusade: Any of the Archuadon instances. sooo boring and bad PUGs would fail at even the simplist trash pulls, even if you can get a group that'd get pass the first bosses.
WotLK: I'm ok with most of the Instances from Wrath though Bran's slowness was Painfully slow but i found Pugs who wouldn't finishing the whole instance to be Infinitely more Painful.
Cataclysm: Sunken Temple without a doubt! They took and Gutted one of my Favorite Instances til it's nothing but a shell of it's former self. It was like they drove a stake through my Heart when I ran a character through it Post-Cata.

Vanilla: Wailing Caverns pre-nerf. While the dungeon itself wasn't hard, the god forsaken maze was and I dreaded ever getting queued up for it with a PuG, especially since a lot of PuGs don't realize that you need to clear all of the bosses before you can get to the murloc boss, and a lot of people *still* leave before you can do the final event. Even now I still end up with a lot of unfinished WC runs because nobody sticks around for the final event.
Burning Crusade: Auchenai Crypts. Mainly because the opening trash pull causes a lot of problems for people new to tanking. Although it seems as if they've made pulling that entire section a little more forgiving now,especially if you're wearing full BoAs. Other than that, I've been able to tolerate the other dungeons I've PuGged.
WotLK: Halls of Stone was annoying, yes, but by far the worst dungeon there was Halls of Reflection, simply because sooooooooo many people couldn't figure out what LoSing around the corner means or how to run a gauntlet. Vanilla: I didn't really hate any of them as long as your tank (or, you know, a leader) new what he was doing. Prime candidates of fail tanks tended to be WC, BRD, UBRS, Mara, Uld, Gnomer. Mara probably takes the cake for me because it just seemed so... pointless.
BC: I was never fond of... Mana Tombs, I think? The one with all the ethereals.
WotLK: Again, I didn't really dislike any of them, but I know I'd groan a bit inside if I got HoS random... if only you could speed up the event, lol e_e And it's still painfully slow even now bah.
Cata: Ummm. Apart from the Zandalaris, probably Grim Batol (I LOVE the story behind it, but the execution is so long and boriiing), and maybe HoO? Again I don't mind the actual instance itself, it's just the requirement of doing that stupid event which takes forever.
