Today however, I found Kirix up and went for him instead... me and a guildie worked at it until I had 0% durability left... no luck, no spider.
About 7 hours later, I got this gut feeling to go check one more time. I used eagle eye to see onto the ledge, and... nothing. I sighed and went to click away when war drums went off. Deth spawned right there!
I raced over to the spire, and wished for the best, pulling out my sacrifice spider I'd been keeping, just for the occasion. I died. I died again. Deth was getting the best of me. I finally, finally managed to kite her around the spire to the main bit there... where a group of other players were standing. My palms were sweating... my heart racing... I was afraid I was going to die again, or worse, Deth would die. I turn back to find a druid entangling her, and a shadow priest draining her; both slowing the spider's movement. Suddenly, there was hope again. I brought my sacrifice back and sent him in, along with another ice trap or two. Soon I noticed as we were kiting Deth around, that her health was getting low. I stowed my sacrifice away and shot off a few arcane shots to make sure I had aggro and prayed that the others would let me tame. <Kill Shot> flashed across my screen, the tame button turned from red to white. Deth was closing in on me. Slowed by the ice trap and with a good amount of distance I hit the tame button. I waited for possibly the longest 10 seconds... and with a flash of blue the spider shrunk down and raced to my side!! I yelled out in chat, "OMG!! Thank you, Thank you!!" I jumped up and down and finally remembered to breathe. I promptly hearthed out to Stormwind to recover from the near heart-attack.

Myself and Deth, awaiting her new name and place of honor in my stables.
I want to extend a special thank you to those of you who made this possible if you happen across this... I really, really appreciate your help in taming this magnificent beast. Thank you so much!! =D
