Scavenger Event Post, muahaha.

Tonight! Friday, April 16th, 2010, at 8:00 PM Nesingwary Server Time! There will be a scavenger event that will be needing this post to do. But, we also will need quite a few guildies to show up for the event to work how I want it. Treading into new waters here, so for now I'll just put this up to make people wonder/want to join in.

Hint: There will be two teams. Team Sexy Pants and Team Spank Me.

What time? I'm putting the toddler to bed tonight, so I probably won't be available until around 8:30pm EST (haha! Yeah, I can wish. 9pm?)

Here's the lowdown:

I took pictures of Rynoh at several locations and gave hints to the teams, Team Spank Me (Vephriel, Telys, Yojimbow, and Awenia) and Team Sexy Pants (Sarayana, Arwyn, Karrosh, and Grimmgor) of the locations. They had to get pictures of their team there. Below I will post the answers to the hints, hehe.

Location 1:
Undercity, Magic Quarter, Demon Summoning Circle, (86.7, 27.1)
Hint: Many come and go here, mostly unwelcome, against their will.

Location 2:
Undercity, Trade Quarter, Path to the Magic Quarter, (68.7, 40.0)
Hint: Those who tread past here, if they are observent, would notice the orange curtain parted for their passing.

Location 3:
Undercity, War Quarter, Warrior Training Arena, (51.5, 22.3)
Hint: Endless battle, how it develops their skills, is beyond me.

Location 4:
Undercity, The Apothecarium, Blue Moon Odds and Ends, (58.8, 55.1)
Hint: The opposite of a beginning, and something strange. On the night of the Blue Moon.

Location 5:
Undercity, The Apothecarium, Slime Maker, (44.7, 62.5)
Hint: The biggest and the smallest side by side.

Location 6:
Undercity, The Apothecarium, Keever's Lab, (52.5, 73.6)
Hint: Explosive sheep? Endless weeping? It's all here.

Location 7:
Undercity, Sewers, Pit of Sludge, (32.2, 31.5)
Hint: A single torch by this pool, but I wouldn't drink from it if I were you.

Location 8:
Undercity, War Quarter, Training Dummy Area, (54.1, 17.3)
Hint: A banner waves true, but of no friend to me or you.

Location 9:
Undercity, Canals, Old Carriage, (66.1, 71.8)
Hint: Old and forgotten carriage. But which one? The cart looks at a path to the shady place. Behind him is the twisted science.

Location 10:
Undercity, Trade Quarter, General Goods Stall, (69.9, 50.0)
Hint: Five bottles. Eight barrels. Eight crates.

I had a helluva time and can say, without hesitation, I will be participating in any and all future events. I never really realized how fun WoW could be when... you're not running around farming, and instead, running around Undercity like a group of lost little children...

And to explain the thinking on the picture taken in the orphanage... well, we were stumped as to what was like a monkey, so we decided that the little orc kiddies looked monkey-ish. Also, we decided to be little monkeys by jumping on the bed. Naturally.
