Madexx (red) Madness

About 2 and a half weeks ago, I started to camp for red Madexx... thinking yes, not to many hunters around anymore, should be easy...

I was wrong. It turned out that, at least with the Moon Guard RNG, blue and green are the most common, followed closely by black. Brown and red are the rarest.

So here I am, still looking for the the elusive red... send me your good luck charms. I need it! This "easy" camp is shaping out to be an epic one.

14 Dec 12AM - black
14 Dec 6AM - black (tamed by Raunien)
— missed some hours --
16 Dec 3:15AM - black
— was on a break --
17 Dec 3:55AM - black
17 Dec 11:52PM - green
— totally lost spawn time
20 Dec 5:50PM - RED

Damn! JUST found Madexx, but it was only the black one. I waited a bit, asked a few people, but no one wanted him since he's a common skin too, but I felt bad for him. So I tamed him.

It's....5:45 am server time. So that at least gives an idea of when he'll spawn next. So approximately 6 hours since last spawn!

Raun! I have to say thanks to you. I was pretty lost when I couldn’t track the spawn timer anymore so I went off to find Icehorn (after stumbling upon your rhino taming post ).

I guess it depends on your server, but I've honestly found the best way to "camp" for Madexx is to log off in the middle of his patrol zone and then log back on early in the morning.

Using this method over the course of 5 days, I almost tamed the red skin, but a troll hunter killed it; I found and tamed the black one, but then remembered it wasn't a unique skin, and then found and tamed the green skin. No blues or browns have been spotted or cached by NPCscan yet.
