Orc Paladin (Hunter Transmog)

Explanation!

Heya folks! I've been messing around with some transmog sets for my hunter. I've been going with a lot of dark themes (S1) and bestial, orcish commander looks (Headdress of the First Shaman + Purple-black Cloak + Dragonmaw tabard). For a change, I decided to go with my Giantstalker set and aim for a sort of "paladin" look, as that's how the shoulders have always struck me. However, I'm not a fan of the entire set, so searching for & acquiring replacements has been interesting--and also finding a tabard, mount & pet to go with it has been fun! I like the final result, although the weapon, bow--not shown--and feet are likely to be changed. The feet just clash a little imo, and the weapon doesn't have its own glow, meaning the Agility enchant kind of blasts the effect with green-ness

The set goes really well with the Tirisfal Bear (or any diseased white--forgive me for not having named him yet!), and fantastically with the Argent Warhorse. It also finally gives me a possibility to use my Albino Drake, which in every other situation just looks ugly to me! And it lets me use my white worg, a model I've always loved; it may not be a 100% match but it's close!

Shoulders: Giantstalker's Epaulets
Chest: Giantstalker's Breastplate
Shirt: Black Swashbuckler's Shirt
Tabard: Argent Crusader's Tabard
Cloak: Drape of Benediction - this item is no longer available, but I'm sure there's appearance-equivalents around.
Gloves: Gianstalker's Gloves
Belt: Giantstalker's Belt
Legs: Tristam Legguards
Boots: Giantstalker's Boots
Melee Weapon: Splintering Greatstaff (Random Enchant)
Ranged Weapon (Not Shown): Zod's Repeating Longbow

Mounts shown are the Albino Drake & Argent Warhorse; pets shown are White Worg & Diseased White Bear. I think the set also goes fairly well with the White Skeletal Warhorse (Horde only) & the white eagle & owl pets.

If anyone has any suggestion for feet, or a better ranged or melee weapon, or an opinion on which headpiece matches better (or a suggestion for an alternate), shout!

Also, here's a nice transmog set I may borrow boots & chest from, as the Giantstalker's has a bit too much red etc in; the Ornate Mail set: http://www.wowhead.com/transmog-set=262 The set would also likely look much better with a white shirt.

Here's a Draenei Female, and a Dorf Male (to show the boots >.>) with the following swaps:

Gloves: Rockwurm Scale Gauntlets
Boots: Ornate Greaves
Chest: Ornate Breastplate
Shirt: White Swashbuckler's Shirt

Still not 100% happy with the gloves, though, nor the weapon's glow. Still, better than the original, if I can get my hands on the pieces!

Aww, I said just a FEW of them! Joking aside though, if you want to see this on a specific race just let me know and I'll whip it together

Trying to find the Ornate pieces is turning out to be painful at best, so I'll likely change transmog set & just haunt the AH for a few weeks ^^

Hmm, I may have to see how this would look with other shoulders. The Giantstalkers shoulders clip through my ears. Otherwise I like them just for how immense they are.
