Suggestion for sword and shield

I have almost collected the emerald set on my tank Chilie, but i have looked and have had no luck in comming up with a sword and shield for her.


The sword will have to be mainhand, cause she is using the heirloom sword http://www.wowwiki.com/Bloodsoaked_Skullforge_Reaver

Her duelspec is fury, and i have this lovely 2hand sword in the bank,

but sadly its one in a kind cause its a quest reward. I would love to be able to dualwield that lovely sword, but alas, so i kinda need suggestions for 2 handed swords, or maces which have a simular look

Not really any tips on stuff, but I read somewhere here that you can transmog one-hand weapons two times, to make both weapons look the same. I have no idea if it would work with a two-hander since this only worked with non-main-hands, but if you have it you can always try? Makes things much easier to not have to look for a second two-hander

You can definitely transmog two items from the same appearance source, so no worries with that.

You don't need a main hand - one-handers can be 'mogged *onto* mainhanders, you just can't go the other way.

That should open up the field for you...

one handed did not work for me....... but would love suggestion :d used the wowhead transmorg option and didt find any real green swords which il ike

It didn't let you 'mog a one hander onto a MH? O.o You should definitely be able to do that (Linky: •One handed weapons can be used to transmogrify a Main hand or Off-hand weapon.)

Or are you just saying you haven't been able to find a one hander you like?

If the latter, you will have a number of options open to you that a meleer wouldn't normally have, as pretty much all caster 1h wpns are MH'ers (that I can recall)

If you want something that goes with the 2h'er you mentioned, this is the 1h version of that model http://www.wowhead.com/item=4977; if you're not lucky enough to have the Sword of Hammerfall sitting in your bank, then your remaining option would be one of the ZF swords. They're tan instead of green, but that still might work.

If not, you may want to consider a Savage Cobalt Slicer or one of it's color variants http://www.wowhead.com/item=41182; at a glance it shares a surprisingly similar shape and size to your 2h'er (might actually be larger... ), in particular it's cousin the Blade of Echoes has nice green wrappings to go with your emerald armor, and it drops from a quest (http://www.wowhead.com/item=43833#.), so that may be a nice fit.

thanks alot for the links no direct hit yet..

and i just found out that the legplats on females is brown!! arghh.. now i need legplates to fit aswell.. grumble.. pref not a raid drop taht be great

if i find somethign on wow head whch i think migth match, how do i put the item into the set to see if the match is horrid or duable, so fare the only thing i got going is a huntch

While I can't help with a sword and shield right now, I can help point out that the legs shown in the screenshot for the Emerald set on WoWHead are actually wrong. If you view it in 3D you'll see the proper ones

If you want to see what matches, first you get to the set page, and the press compare and ok. This leads you to this: http://www.wowhead.com/compare?items=10 ... 0276:10282#
Then you press the "item" link, and write the name of the piece you want to compare. Now you have this piece in a window separate from the other's cluster.
Say that you want to compare the chimaerascale legs instead. You write the name in the box, choose the right legplates and they're in the box next to the other gear. Now you choose the legs of the other set, and drag them to the right ride, outside of the cluster with the set. They will now be their own square. Just put the new legs with the old set, and you can view them together by pressing the little arrow and "View in 3D"
