Blue Transmog: The old frost resist sets (and more)

For quite a while now I've been trying to dig information and possible quest duplicates for the infamous(?) frost resist gear which seems to be one of the only light blue/cyan coloured pieces in game for all classes. All of them still have a craftable chest armor, belt and boots. (The boots sometimes having wrong or "broken" texture though and the crafted belts all seem to share the Polar Cord texture, even though it belongs to the Polar Leather set originally.) Technically, if someone in your server still has Frozen Runes and the patterns pre-learned; you can obtain some of the missing pieces. Others were drops from the old Naxx which is now gone, so those are unobtainable either way if there are no quest duplicates.

I would encourage it if we could urge Blizzard to add these items back to the game for transmogging. They could be included as craftable items in their appropriate professions where the no longer obtainable Frozen Runes are replaced with Frozen Orbs or maybe as replica armor from Darkmoon Faire.

The old frost resist set is one of my favorites, and I hate that most of it is unobtainable and that almost nothing matches because of how vibrant the blue is. Occasionally I do transmorg the chest and combine it with pieces of my Ebonhold/Savage Gladiator set and the Bloodmail Legguards from Scholo. The look of the set basically revolves around the black and blue look of the Sonic Spear.

Here's a screenshot that I forgot to transmorg the Icy Scale Belt into, but you get the idea:

Ohh, that's a pretty nicely put together set Kempera! I didn't know mail had such nice solid black pants... I have to keep those in mind. Thank you!
