Well they could make him on the English side..... Thats what I was getting at every game based in that era is allways on the yanks side never the English side. They don't need to follow history strickly theres allways the "What if the other side one" Kind of storys. (then again most "historic" based games get the history wrong anywayJessibelle wrote:Well thats a revolutionary war....Colonials win. So of course the enemy is the British. They're not allowed to change the real enemy from a real war.

I think part of the reason for this is b/c it IS a real war, you don't want to make a game where the character is on the losing side and everyone knows it before-hand. I'm personally hoping he works for the Native Americans, as he is NA, and does equal damage to both sides, as, to be frank, I don't like either when it comes to this war, British b/c of their Oppression, and the Colonists for their Oppression of the Natives.cowmuflage wrote:Well they could make him on the English side..... Of corse when they do that the News stations like Fox will call them anti american and all that crap.... They allways do.
Does not stop them from making Veitnam based onesGimlion wrote:I think part of the reason for this is b/c it IS a real war, you don't want to make a game where the character is on the losing side and everyone knows it before-hand. No...No they can't. Why? Everyone knows the Brits LOSE. That would make the game rather pointless when Assassin's Creed is known to be pretty historically accurate.cowmuflage wrote:Well they could make him on the English side..... Eh was just a simple suggestion.Jessibelle wrote:No...No they can't. Why? Everyone knows the Brits LOSE. It's not that accurate but hey nothings perfect, It can still be cliche in story telling even if it did happen for real. Thats your opinon on it not suiting it I feel differnt But what ever I can't be stuffed having this convo really so lets move on.Jessibelle wrote:Assassin's Creed is usually historically accurate. Suggestions are fine but....that kind doesnt suit this game at all. It's not cliche. It's just what happened for real.

Hmm there should be some.Meggers wrote:I challenge you to find a game made in other countries where they don't have their country as the good guy.
IMO Modern Warfare 2 was a kiss ass to the British. All the Americans you play as get killed or are saved by the Brittscowmuflage wrote:Hmm there should be some.Meggers wrote:I challenge you to find a game made in other countries where they don't have their country as the good guy.not every one can follow that stereotype. Heck even the yanks have done that. Half life half of the game has you fighting the marines.
But thats true most people are not like me and would not find it fun to fight my own side. I would XD
