So... freakin... CUTE.

We once had an opossum and our cat trapped together on our small enclosed patio, and they were both too scared of each other to even think of fighting! Of course our possums, Didelphis virginiana, are different than yours.cowmuflage wrote:I had a possum come near my house, and it had a fight with ma cat XD. Cat lost of course.

Holy crap that is waaay too cute.Acherontia wrote:However, I didn't blame the raccoon; it was just being a raccoon. It jammed itself up into a cabinet, so I laid a pear down on the floor outside of it. A raccoon hand reached out, cast around, grabbed the pear & vanished. Munching ensued.
A bit later, the raccoon emerged; I found it standing on the kitchen table, leaning on the window as if trying to figure out how to get out. I walked up to it and ran my hand down its back, very gently, just because PETTING A WILD RACCOON seemed like a good idea at the time. Then my cat jumped on it.
The raccoon promptly jumped down and found the open doorI was left with garbage everywhere, a dead fish (...piece), a pissed-off cat and a half-eaten pear jammed into the cabinet frame where nobody could reach it >.<
