So.... what kinda dungeons would you be interested in seeing?
As mentioned in another thread I'd be keen for
Silvermoon Dead Scar - The closed off run through the center of the city where the Scourge once rampaged. What terrors still lay inside that sealed off area?
Red Rocks Cavern - A small cave on the cliffs behind the Red Rocks in Mulgore, where Harpies and Quilboar can come to a shaky/temporary alliance in order to destroy the Tauren and claim Mulgore for themselves
plenty of others ideas of course, but lets hear some of yours

Awesome ideas.
I think there should be a new underwater (at least part of it) in the 1k needles... like the harpy cave survivors... except some naga are trying to sneak in and setup a camp with demons, etc... a new 30's ish dungeon, people would be all over that.
Something that takes more then facerolling to get through
Even in BC with up to T5 to T6 gear you needed to CC some parts of mana-tombs, Shadow Labyrinth, Sethekk Halls, and maybe some others but these are the main three i remember off the top of my head.........those caster pulls really hurt.

I kinda like the faceroll, if only because with the random dungeon system, you get people who wouldn't last a few minutes in some of the tougher CC situations from BC...
What would be nice is, besides normal/heroic, there'd be something above heroic, that would require CC and such. You get better rewards, but it's even tougher. And with the gear checker thing, you wouldn't have too many people going in...
Ah well, it would complicate things at max level, but people who play quite often would like it I'm sure.

It's funny cause I just did Deadmines on a lowbie alt last night (level 17 when we started). That place is an exercise in careful pulling. Doesn't matter how decked out in heirlooms you are, if you don't know how to handle yourself (and this is particularly true for the tank!) you'll wipe. Definitely not a facerolling place.
Much gratitude to Spiritbinder for the signature and Vephriel for the avatar!<3
Maraudon:
More twisty turneys that get you lost in seconds as opposed to "the map says thisaway" for about thirty minutes before you realise you're bloody lost. More mining nodes to make it more of a greed trap. Oh and more surprise mobs that have you going WTFIKILLEDTHOSE before copping several demonic staves to the face as a lowbie.
Dire Maul:
More insight into the past. The arena could utilise the phasing thing for particular parts of the instance, or as a player explores the grounds (not necessarily the instance), they could trigger off past events by examining long forgotten relics and plaques - the phasing technology would transport the player to that time, similar to the Northrend quest in the Vrykul villages (The Echo Of Ymiron) where we learn they are the progenitors of all Humankind on Azeroth. I would definitely like to see this place given a lot more spotlight.
The Obsidian Sanctum/The Bronze Sanctum/The Emerald Sanctum/The Azure Sanctum:
We're already getting the Ruby Sanctum, which Deathwing's other children attempt to lay complete and total waste to. It's inevitable that the other gateways to the other egghordes beneath the Wymrest Accord would be torn open by Deathwing at various points of his little "return visit". I would like to see if the events in the upcoming Ruby Sanctum triggers off possible follow-ups in the other flights' personal domains and in this case, lives. With that said, maybe 10/25 man raiding instances, a 5-man heroic for some of the related events, or more CoT-related precedents.
Some instance involving Galakrond:
He's been mentioned but never before seen. We've found his bones in the Dragonblight, but I would like to see or experience an event that places this massive proto-dragon sire right in the thick of it all, as the Titans prepared to use him as the progenitor of the Aspects, and indeed that of all Dragonkind. I'd like to have some instance with the Explorer's League in mind, that triggers off a Titan-buried secret about the birth of the Aspects.
The Forbidding Sea:
Maybe I'm a bit masochistic in the idealism that I'd like to be on board a ship, sailing for this unknown territory, only to encounter more than my fair share of 'unknown dangers' just at the start of Cataclysm's main event. Of course, this could all be solved with the Goblins' opening cinematic, BUT, I can dream...
Aye, I like my lore and I like long, lengthy, rich, full questlines that grab you by the collar and fling your ass directly into the unknown dangers of dungeoning and raiding.
...it must be why I love Laz as much as I do...

Oh god, that place is so confusing. I haven't had a single group that didn't get lost in there... =_=
You haven't ran it with me leading it... I usually know where I'm going in there... I do have the wing with the demon trapped in a circle down by hear, mostly because I spent several hours RPing my way through it with some random people doing my warlock horsie quest there...
Love the idea of the Silvermoon instance. I've always wanted to figure out how to get in there! The backstory I designed for my rogue main says he used to live in that half of the city, so I'd love to see parts of it.
Something in Felwood might be interesting too. There's a lot of creepy stuff there, would be very interesting to play off of...maybe players have to go through and try to cure the place up? Dunno how it changes in Cataclysm though...

A big thanks to Vephriel for the awesome signature
Ever since I started playing, I felt that a raid inside Teldrassil (the tree) would be awesome. Since the tree is corrupted, there could be a maze of tunnels filled with various unpleasant critters eating away at it from the inside (or something similar).
Oh wow Lazuly, that's a great idea! Furbolgs don't seem to get much attention in-game...an instance full of them would be absolutely perfect!
As for myself, I think it would be fun to have some sort of prehistoric instance filled with nothing but dinosaurs. xD Perhaps one in Un'goro. Even better if it was an 'outdoor' instance. It doesn't exactly make any lore sense, but I just want it for the fun. :3
Maybe a Caverns of Time dungeon for Un'Goro, where you're part of Marshall's team first exploring the crater, fighting wave after wave of dinosaur. Maybe thats where some of those giant bones came from, the devilsaur boss they had to down before forced to take refuge at what would become Marshall's Refuge?
I want to see an instance and quest area to go with it in that zone north of Hillsbrad (I think it's called Alterac?). Maybe a giant Syndicate fortress? Or a large Yeti Cave? Not really sure, I just want that zone to get more use.

There are some quests that hint that there is something dark and scary influencing the Syndicate, but they kind of went nowhere after Arathi Highlands.
After reading Stormrage...I'd love a Emerald Dream related dungeon/s where you fight off the Nightmare. I won't spoil anything of the book since it tells how our beloved Malfurion came back and lot's of other cool stuff I won't mention! I am teasing you guys...evil. Damn now I need to redesign my druid.
Hmm more dungeons to the Cavern of Times would be cool to do some other past Warcraft happenings, like helping Arthas get to the Sunwell! The infinite dragonflight needs love.

Would be nice to have more than a few quests for them though, maybe add more to the Ravenhold/Syndicate war? Something like the Ravenhold people open up more for help, then give quests to go into syndicate areas(and finally their main city) and help destroy them.
