Charming Water Strider in need of a name!

So, fellow Petopians, I am in desperate need of help! I tamed one of the pretty little blue Water Striders in the Jade Forest, and absolutely fell in love with him. He's just the cutest little thing in existence! I love the swirly markings on his back, and the lights around him! And oh my Arceus, the chittering noises he makes! *Flops* He's just too perfect! XD

Only problem is.. He still doesn't have a name. I've been absolutely clueless on what to call him. And it's been driving me up the wall because of it! I've managed to last hours on end dragging him around with me, even without a name, but I really need to find something for him. He doesn't.. Necessarily have a set personality yet, but I've noticed he appears to be some sort of mood ring in a bug's form, thanks to PetEmote. XD He really loves changing colours randomly, apparently. I guess he has mood swings, or something.


So, anyone have any ideas? XD Here's a picture of me and him, just for the heck of it, too.

Hah, my mom actually suggested both Charm and Charming. While both are nice.. I dunno, neither seem like the right name. I'm really picky about pet names, so they have to be the PERFECT fit for a pet. XD

(On a side note, I am now inspired to one day tame another Water Strider and name it Surskit. XP)

I am completely okay with this. XD Being associated with Pokemon immediately is something that I can roll with.

..Ahem. Beyond Pokemon silliness... XD Sadly, none of these names have really jumped out at me. I don't know what it is about this silly little bug, but he's such a pain in the butt to find a name for.

Does that particular hunter have any naming styles or schemes you prefer on her that might help come up with a name?

Noooot really. The names of Sandfur's pets are mostly all over the place. XD Though I usually stick towards non-silly names, there have been a few times where I have had pets named after inside jokes, or that sorta thing. But I'd rather have a more serious name for the Water Strider.

I sooo agree with u!! have the same pet and also a naming thread... For now he is just Glowstick but he deserve a better name. They are soo imensely cute and adorable!
