long time lurker, first time poster here, name is Aerendil, night elf hunter.
After checking the site, I noticed that Mothran was listed as not tamable.
As I was in the zone questing, I decided to check it and, with some difficulties, I managed to tame it.
It is possible if no other PC is fighting the Moth. After a little while, Mothran "cocoons" the npc mothfighters. At that moment it is possible to tame him.
Funny detail, after the tame, 4 of the 5 npc mothfighters jumped on top of the tamed moth and stayed there, riding him.
They left him only after I got too close to another Mothran kill.

We actually did know that one was tameable but unfortunately Petopia hasn't been updated yet. A full list of the ones hotfixed to be tameable after release is: http://forums.wow-petopia.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=19153
