Windsteed = Mythological Qillin irl?

If it's in game and reasonably obtainable(unlike the one green serpent requiring all Heroic raid content, that'll happen in a few years...) I'll get it for the sake of collecting mounts. If it's the Bliz store, I'll never see it. Ok, well, I will probably never see it. I won't go into the Bliz store debate rabble.

Have to get a better, close up, picture. Otherwise I'm not impressed by the color choices. =(

I am gonna have to see this thing in action first. I imagine it is the generic horse/goat running animation in the air, but the cloud kinda worries me. Not sure how that effect will end up.

I got burnt BIG TIME on the heart of the aspects mount, I HATE that thing but bought it before I really checked out the animations.

im with ya there, aspect was total eye candy and then you hop on one and omg it was like celestial steed all over again.. Speaking of which.. why dafaq did they give the celestial steed the hippogryph animations when there were already flying horses before it was released (i think, wasnt the HH mount present before the celestial steed?).

Anyways, im sorta just.. sitting here twiddling mah fingers waiting for more screenies >.> but the fire kitten hasnt gotten any camera time since its initial unveiling so hard to say if we'll get anymore info before its release into wherever it'll come from. After seeing the actual WoW FB post, it definitely has me seriously leaning to the store.

I love the Heart of Aspects but as said, you can't please everyone.

They actually gave it the Invincible animations, as it's the same skeleton and same shape. Granted, Invincible's skeleton was hippogryph based.

Still think this will be Blizzard Store, as they don't announce individual mounts that aren't a) Blizzard Store or b) Collector's Edition. The raid and achievement mounts for MoP were in one big blanket post, and the rare-spawn mounts were never announced afaik--people had to discover TLPD, Aeonaxx, and Alani on their own.

Not sure if I like it yet. I saw the post on FB earlier and was first like AWESOME, but looking at it I am kinda iffy on it atm. The cloud under it....wtf....I agree, I want to see up close model of it before I decide and I do hope they fix it up better (and take away that annoying cloud...) before I decide.

I'm not convinced (see: armored hippogryph models we still can't have). I suppose we'll see where they come from when they're put in the PTR and/or released!

Huh, these are kind of neat. I wasn't impressed at first, but the sort of minimalistic approach is growing on me. I like that red and blue one especially.

Also highly curious about where they come from. Four colors… Hmm.

Well, here's hoping there's some way I can get one, anyway! Even if it's "TAKE MY MONEY". xD

I really like these, they're a nice Blizzard stylization of a qilin. The white and red are my two favourites.

Right, so seeing all four colour options, i'm a lot happier with this mount, I really do like the way it looks, especially the white and blue/red ones. On the downside, many colours means it's not going to be a blizz store mount, so the chances are that it will be a reward from a new faction, which will mean having to grind to exalted for these.

As for the cloud, I think it's a brilliant touch.

sad to see its now no longer going to be a blizz store mount, after getting to see better closeups, and no doubt these are gonna be horrenous to acquire.. namely red which is usually since Vanilla, the hardest color mount to acquire (red aquir bug, red proto drake, red stone and wind drake, red non-lightning serpent).. this is very depressing to see. Only colors i like are green and red.

At first I saw them and was a bit repelled, but on closer inspection they're rather growing on me. I love that they look unlike anything made before, and I am surprised that instead of my usual colour choices, I am enamoured of the brown one. The colours are glorious!

Just because they have multiple colors in the database, doesn't mean they all will get used. I'm still waiting for the other Waterstrider mounts

I'm loving the colors on all of them. Every one. They're a little odd-looking, model-wise, but I suspect they'll grow on me, and I do appreciate that they look completely unlike any other mount we already have. Now to hope they'll be something I can reasonably strive for, sigh.
