You fish up the Sea Turtle from a MOP pool now, I fished it up on my Mage with 225 fishing skill.
I believe if you can believe out of nothing an explosion (big bang) happened then how far fetched can god be?

Is the Sea Turtle only obtainable from MoP pools now, or is it in the old pools still?

Nope it's fishable from any pool past WOTLK. Darkmoon too.

I actually heard about a lot of people getting it from the Darkmoon Faire when it was first released. Sounds like it might be a good fishing spot.

thats how i got mine. and i didnt have lk/cata at the time so an xpack is no longer needed to obtain it. Great fishing spot. Had a friend get the mount from the island as well.
