Takk or Ghost Saber?

**I'm a posting fool today!**

I am not sure why but I have lately had this very overwhelming fear that Takk along with several of the other Barrens rares will be gone once Cat hits. On my alt hunter she had Ghost Saber. I loved the cat and got really lucky in spawning him on the second figurine. I decided to go see if Takk was around. I get to the spawn points and nothing. I make the loop a few times and decide to farm for some leather since, hey, I'm already there. I start farming and went down to a spawn point by the ridge and after skinning a tallstrider Takk spawns. I very quickly release my Ghost Saber and make the tame. I do a few dungeon runs to get Takk up to level and so realized how much I had missed having a raptor. Raptors and hyenas had been my main constant pets since vanilla but had released my raptors to tame other pets. I head back to Dustwallow Marsh.


Now is when the thoughts of "great now ghost saber is going to go extinct and you won't have him anymore". I was damning myself but it felt SO good to have a raptor by my side again.

So. Which is in more danger of retirement /extinction????

That's a tough call. I take it you don't have enough stable room for them both?

I've thought the exact same thing. =s With the exact same pets, no less! Lately I've been having that feeling of 'You should get some pets now, before it's too late!'.

I have 2 baby hunters, a Draenei named Morithil (level 15), and a Tauren named Niabi (not to be confused with the Niabi here xD; level 22). Niabi has Takk already (his name is Cole, he's my ickle baby!). And Morithil has...well, a Snow Leopard from Dun Morogh (named Shy). I've been thinking of replacing Shy with his ethereal counterpart, as well as 'rescuing' the Strider Clutchmother from dreary Darkshore. I have no problems as Morithil has 3 stable slots free still, bless her. xD

Maybe a hunter alt would be a solution? It's not the same as having them on your main of course, but you can always look at your alts and say, 'yep, I have 'em'. =) Just my 2 pennies. x

Haha! I could never (well, maybe - but I'd have to be really, really pissed off) smite a fellow Petopian. We hunter-esque types need to stick together you know

Sorry to reply to this so late but I've been out of town since early Saturday morning and haven't been able to get on. But my dilemma still continues.

NONE of my hunter toons have stable room. Short of making yet another hunter, which I would fear not having the time to run it and level it fast enough and get lucky enough to get Snort, Takk, Ghost Saber etc ................... (crap. Totally just lost my train of thought, OH YEAH) I would have to let something go in order tame something else. I gave up Ghost Saber to train Takk because he's really hard to get on such a popular server. It's not that he's just that awesome it's because of his mini pet drop. So he's usually killed as soon as he's up or tamed.

I was really thinking of taming him on my main but to do so would have to release my albino devilsaur. So that's my other dilemma.

Takk or Devilsaur on my main?
