Idea for Alani

Currently, Alani is causing a lot of botting issues, where people farm for many sky crystals so they can "sell" the mounts. There are also issues with the mount being snatched by ninja looters, even in master looter. And then there's even the possibility of being DC'd or killed after using the crystal, and loosing the tag on Alani.
For something that takes so long, and a lot of effort to get, these issues are pretty major.
What if, instead of being turned into a 1 use item, you get a quest item? The quest item will have a 1 day cooldown (to prevent spamming of alani tagging), be unique, and have unlimited uses, having the same effect that the current sky shard has right now. However, it also gives the quest "Alani, The Stormborn", which is required for Alani to drop the mount, or in this case, the reigns. Then, you take the sky crystal, and the reigns, to a quest giver, say, Lorewalker Cho for example, and you get the actual mount there.
No more worry of loosing the mount.

Nope. This sounds like stuff for "General" or "Quests" sections. In the former it would quickly get drowned, in the latter omitted by almost everyone. In-game suggestion feature perhaps?
