Steamwheedle Cartel reputation problems

I'm having a LOT of trouble raising my Steamwheedle Cartel rep.

I was finally able to get Ratchet, Gadjetzan, and Booty bay to Revered, but Everlook is just not following. I still need another thousand to get that one to Revered.

I've been slaughtering pirates in Tanaris for hours on end, but with 2-3 rep per kill, I just don't see how I'm going to make that 21,000 rep!

I can find absolutely no quests in Wintergrasp (I did the whole zone back when it was level-appropriate). And the few new quests that appeared after Cataclysm don't seem to give goblin rep at all.

Is there ANYthing I can do? Or is it really the painful torturous grind of drips and drabs of rep from the mass extermination of pirates in Tanaris?

Mass extermination. I'm in the same boat as you. I sure miss the old Dire Maul repeatable quest. :/

I turned in runecloth with Everlook first before I did any of the other cloth turn-ins after doing bloodsail to try and avoid the same problem. But the only thing left for you to do now is grind it out. I recommend using the rep buff from the DMF and just find as many people as you possibly can to help you farm. The mobs will always spawn faster than you can kill them so the fastest way to get it done is to bring a friend.

It's just a painful grind with no alternatives other than mass pirate genocide. :/ I still haven't finished it. Tried for a while, but it's so damn tedious.

Well, I found a few quests in Tanaris that it seems I had not completed when at level (new corners/hubs after Cataclysm... except I'm finding that half of those quests aren't giving any sort of reputation at all.

Some quests give "Steamwheedle Cartel" rep, but those don't add anything to my Everlook rep (I have the Everlook reputation as an experience bar, to see if it moves when I hand in quests.. a lot of times, the number doesn't change at all).

The only time I seem to get Everlook rep is when it actually names all four of the Steamwheedle factions. And Everlook always seems to get the least amount.
