Would you play as a robot char?

Seeing the new red robot battle pet that looks like that movie logo got me thinking. Would you play as a robot race in WoW? Fel Reavers and even Lil'XT have really cool models. I wonder if it would look out of place or awesome to have a race of mechs

Also, yes. I can definitely see a race of gnomish/goblin constructs going haywire and gaining sentience. It would be a really cool addition that fits thematically. They could even be almost any class, with possible exception of druids and monks (which need to bend or transform in ways robots usually don't). Priests and paladins may also be kinda sketchy for those, but rest of the classes should be fine.

EDIT: Also a robot shaman would feel not right. So... warriors, rogues, hunters, mages, warlocks... Probably needs those monks and/or priests.

Personally, I hope that after the model updates, they'll give gnomes the option to choose a mechagnome model/skin. They are mechagnomes after all, and it fits the whole 'mecha' niche perfectly! I'd love it, to say the least!

As for a robot character...maybe not a full blown one, but I would find it fun to play a bio-mechanical character. or if it is a pure robot, something like this would be epic XD:

I really enjoy the mecha/steam punk elements in WOW, and I love being and engineer... so for me it would be a BIG yes

Mechagnome or Iron Dwarf would both work and I presume wouldn't be hard to implement compared to some others. But they'd both probably look rather weird in armour. And it'd also hide most of their features.

But screw that, I want that robot chair!

Hell yeah I would! Would probably bring me back to the game as well lol. Fel Reavers are some of my fav npcs in the game, and I'm kinda sad there's not hardly any sentient construct races minus things straight from the Titans. Something like Warforged from DnD would be pretty awesome.
