I wanted the Oil-Soaked Wolf tame, and as I don't have a friend on the Alliance side, my friend and I on the Horde set out for me to tame it the old fashioned way of "kill as the tame ends" tonight. After about a half an hour, and several "should have been perfect" tames that failed, I looked online and got the impression that the wolf is no longer tameable with Oil, with either Lupus Pupus method OR kill-tame method. However, nowhere that I went gave me a direct answer, so can anyone confirm this for me?
TL;DR, Is the Oil-Stained Wolf tame with the Oil Buff still tameable?

Oil-Soaked Wolf; Can it still be done?

Nope, sorry. None of the appearance buff pets are tamable with the buffs now. http://forums.wow-petopia.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=7521
