Raming back into WoW. Like a Dwarf!

Unread post by Myrrmi »

After almost 2 months of being net-less (mobile net doesn't count, its not for srs bsns 8-) ) I'm back in Azeroth. YIII-HAAA :headbang:

So... This Friday morning I was finally able to register the connection, then, in the evening and partly night, I've installed WoW. And then it felt as if the WoW itself was welcomming me home :D That I've managed to come back on the 1st day of the Brewfest I cannot read as nothing else but a Sing. Of something. Probably. Whatever, let's have a drink :D

So, first thing first, as I've got myself a new rig as well, I've spent an hour or two just flying around. Getting full "Good" settings with 70-90fps can seriously screw your mind if you've only remembered Azeroth from the perspective of 0-5fps on the lowest settings possible, with camera set to the ground.

Then I've started running my 4 lvl90 through Coren. The 3rd char has got the Ram in her bag. Yippe! Unfortunatelly, The 4th one didn't get the Kodo, but I always wanted the Ram more, so whatever, let's have a drink :D

I've got a peek into the Timeless isle and got a few tokens for my alts.
The most needing one was my droo, so I've got her through a few easy chests and occasional rares first. And as soon as she hit the ilvl, I've sent her into ToT as resto, which I haven't played in a year or so, but it couldn't have been that hard, I think? Besides, now I've got TEH FPS of the rig! Finally, I'll live through Durumu Pizza! Of course, I forgot to change settings to the good old lowest for the fight. LOL NOPE
After all, its wasn't that bad, though, and she managed to heal though the entire ToT, some wings more than once, when she got in on wrong bosses. By the end, and it took quite a few hours, I had enough of ToT, LFR, LFR-ers, WoW, people and the whole world in general. So I called it a day and went to sleep.

On Sunday the one-day sick-flue that was passing through my fammily got to me at last, so I was dead in a bed. Nothing to see here, move on.

Yesterday I did the Coren routine again (no Kodo, whatever, let's have a drink), defended the Fest and then, with Myrrmi's vision still swaying from all those valiantly drunk brew, I've finally managed to gather enough courage to try the legendary challange... and one-shooted it  with my dps spirit bear tanking both Wrathy and the adds.
Then I've noticed that I was still holding my brewfest mug from the Fest defence  Spanking snotty whelps without letting go of my brew, that's me! Like a Dwarf! 8-)

I followed the legendary chain into the Isle and soon ended up cheerfully fooling around there. I've killed a few rares, did a few chest-riddles, died a few times (including the obligatory once because of forgetting to tinker the glider into my new cloak), and found a cave with a monkey guy and his treasure...
1. No no no no, I'm saving for... uhm... all those pretty things - uhm, they're 500 coins only, kay, just one key - now which chest? The big one to the left? Looks like phat lewtz... No, the one to the right seems shinier! - FUUU I was about to open that chest! Why did you pick my chest! There're like dozens of others around! - oh kay... - oh, that biggest one behind the monkey seems up for grabs, too ->400 coins
2. Well, not much lost, why not another one? - kay, maybe that big one to the left now. First picks may be best ->350 coins.
3. Ok, I know I can't go on like that or it'll never end (or rather it will end quite fast together with my coins). One last key. LAST! - now, which one... a small one for a change - oh, the small gold box near the exit looks kinda cute. And it's on my way OUTTA HERE BEFORE I GET BROKE! -> Ooker-dooker!
I've just checked this guy's drop rate on wowhead. Really, WoW, you shouldn't have...

So, I'm hoping to get my orange cape tomorrow - hopefully I can get into some celestial killing spree. Maybe I'll be able to complete SoO LFR, although I'm not sure if I want to try after yesterday disasterous 3rd and 4th bosses. Whatever, let's have a drink :D

It's so good to be back :headbang:

I have no idea what you're talking about, since it's probably been almost a year since I've played. However, that was entertaining to read. :D Congrats on your ram!
