As I am sure everyone knows there has been a fad of hollywood to remake 1980's shows into movies recently. Some good some bad. I just found out that they are making movies of 3 1980's cartoons. Voltron- For those that don't know you could say it's the original Power Rangers. Thundercats - Humanoid cats surviving on an alien planet fighting against an evil mummy. Lastly what IMO is a horrible mistake is a live action/animated movie of The Smurfs.

I cringed so hard when I first saw the trailer for Smurfs. Why.

At least I'm too young to have watched it when it was still on TV. My childhood memories are, at the moment, still safe.

...How can you make a movie of the Smurfs in the first place? I mean...seriosly.
I think something in my childhood just was broken.
Well atleast the Tekken movie that they are making is looking good.

Kinda looking forward to the Thundercats myself. But this whole thing on remaking movies (A Team, Smurfs, Honeymooners, ect.) is just the sad revelation that Hollywood writers have lost their imagination completely now. Even Avatar as good as it was, was still a remake. At least they did put it in a new perspective.
