Rights Mons! I would like ta congratulate you on a very good contest. it was a tough call but de judges and I have narrowed down the field to a few choice lines. Wit out de furthering of adu dey are

12. Frantically she dug through the dirt - damp and black it clung underneath her now bleeding fingernails - her thoughts raced as she glanced skyward at the full moon. "Where is it!?" she whispered in a frenzy her eyes darting back and forth.. Then her nails scratched the wooden surface! Brushing the dirt away she looked down at the red cross engraved upon the front of the old coffin. Weathered and beaten it had laid in the cool ground for some time her eyes focused with glee "I found you..." she whispered in a haunting voice.

As Sarayana said dat she might not be able to post her storie I have included de top four selections ratha then de top 3... as for everyone else I wanna let ya know dat de next few entries were separated by less den 3 points, so a point here, a point dere and it coulda gon another way... ya alls did very well

Howeva given dat we were a bit slow off de mark I am extending de deadline for de finished stories to July 3rd (cause it not like we got anyting else going on around dat time neh?)

But get cracking ya four and remember, ya stories MUST start with de winning sentence ya presented. Once ya finished PM it ta my mailbox and on de 3rd I will post de stories on dis site for final judgeing by all de peoples

Oo. I didn't see this post!! D: I'ma go and see if I can't get it written in spite of bosses and toddlers!!

Aaaand yeah, I haven't gotten anything written and my son's sick now, not to mention we gotta find new homes for the cats (the reason why he keeps getting sick) asap and I have a ton of work this week... There's no way I can get this written. Sorry.

I have some great ideas, I just have no time to put them down on paper. *sigh*

Yeah i'm afraid I'm going to be pulling out of it too.. I had several ideas and just havent had time.. I've been working a lot and have been too tired to write. .. I do like my opening sentence though..perhaps I'll get around to it..when it dosent have a deadline..
