Looking for help taming Shadow of Dambala!

I accidentally chose threads of fate on my hunter years ago without realizing it would mess up taming this pet. Is anyone saved to the quest on the alliance side by any chance? I'd really love this mount.

If you want to tame a serpent with the exact same look as Dambala, tame Vathikur. It is in Vol'dun. It spawns after you kill all the pit snakes in the area. There is no quest needed to get it to spawn.
