Thori'dal and Cataclysm

Any hunters in the beta able to check if Thori'dal has changed?
I know its old content but im curious to see if its changed now that ammo has been removed and the bonus DPS it usually provides added to the weapons instead.

Since that was the only thing that made Thori'dal better then the Golden Bow from twins, it could potentially make it useless.

BC content and wrath content has not changed except for a few quests updated to reflect the passage of time and the cataclysm but they are VERY minor!
but the ammo effect will most likely still exist

I know the content hasn't changed, but due to the stat and ammo changes they said they would be upping the DPS on ranged weapons since they no longer get the bonus from ammo, which was the only thing that gave Thori'dal the DPS boost over other bows from Sunwell.

thoridal is like a beta version of what bows should be like in cataclysm so i think it will stay the same

Do you have the Golden Bow from twins? Has that been changed? If so could you please post a screenshot of it? (and Thori'dal if possible as well)

I dont, but Golden Bow would probably get some sort of damage increase (assumption), whereas Thoridal would get none. (Already had it).

I can re-install my Beta sometime today and get a SS or something if you really want it that bad, although i dont know what info it could provide that i couldnt.

That's what im assuming as well, wouldn't take much of an increase before it would start performing better then Thori'dal.

Yeah, Thoridal won't be getting a boost. They used the highest rank of arrows at the time and tacked that onto it so that hunters wouldn't be losing out on DPS just for infinite ammo. If it DOES get a boost, it'll be to make it better then the Golden bow, and it won't be like tacking on a whole knew rank of ammunition.
