Sadly, no pets, but action looks top notch. If battles are not a total grind fest, the lack of an auto attack puts the action of games like this close to Fable and other console games. Although I like wow, I could get used to a fast paced action game. Especially if they brought in gameplay principles like that of planetside

I don't really feel like this is so much the "Post-Modern" era as much as its the "Pre-Zombie-Apocalpse" era. I consider myself more of a forward thinking guy and an era that just won't die is just as feasible as a coming era, where the dead come back.
