Finally found my parrot!

Hey!

I've been trying to find Hyacinth macaw and since wowhead lists the item as 0% to drop I knew that it would take a while. Since I've never tried to farm something even close to having a 1/10 000 drop chance I felt unlucky when I didn't get it after constantly farming pirates for 30 hours. I know that some 1% drops can takes 500+ runs and I was really hoping that I would get my Hyacinth macaw as soon as possible because instead of 400 extra runs it would be 40 000 extra kills! So I'm quite happy that I got it this morning after "only" 8k kills and less than a week spent on farming



Now I just have to wait for cataclysm until I can make my goblin hunter.

Congratulations! That's very very cool.

Although I have to admit that the title made me think about the time my mother's cockatiel made it out the door and we spent the next three hours chasing him from one side of the house to the other. He never left the yard, but every time we'd get close he'd fly straight over the roof to get away from us.

But you managed to get your cockatiel back inside, right? I'm very sorry if you didn't I once had two budgies, they didn't go outside but they used my bed as a toilet and then flew back into the cage as if nothing happened... I know have a fear towards open doors and a hatred against birds.

I was planning to farm until this wednesday as that's when my wrath of the lich king trial runs out and I'll transfer back to my old account. I can't really do anything else since my bags are completely full and I need a guildbank to be able to continue leveling herbalism without having to sell the herbs. So, anyone know something I can do that doesn't require any bagspace and will help me prepare for my goblin?
