AMG soo i pre orderd the orig. cata and gamestop told everyone who pre ordered it they would call when the collectors edition was up for pre order well i called yesterday and they hadnt heard and then today when i got home from the mall i got the call. I just got back and now am the proud owner of a pre ordered collectors edition i am sooooo excited i was the first one there ! and they have a special thing they do, the first person to pre order " a wow collectors edition" they take their pic with the manager and it gets put on a plaque and put up on the wall SO i had my picture taken I R SO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not only did I not get my picture taken since I was the first to preorder the CE of Cataclysm at Gamestop here... but I didn't even get the FFXVI beta code that Gamestops gave out to the first person to pay off their FFXIV CE preorder.

My Brother and I managed to pick up our collector's editions today from our local EBGames. Apparently, we got there jsut in time, as there were only seven preorder copies left.

But this marks my first CE for WoW, can't wait to tear into all the goodies it has!

woo grats oh i know i cant wait either. I was happy to be the first. i know on BC they ran out in one day. for WOTLK 2 days who knows on cata lol wouldnt doubt if they were already sold out

Just after reading on wow.com that the CE had been officially announced, I headed over to ebgames.ca -- which now redirects to gamestop.ca, where, lo and behold, the CE was already available for preorder. For old time's sake, I tried preordering in person at my local EBGames on Wednesday morning, but it wasn't in their system yet. Since I can't head back there for the rest of the week, I ordered it online. Pity, I'd enjoyed the feeling of community lining up at that store for BC and WotLK on release day. Maybe next time.
