Some others care, tough.

Yeah, like me. Petopia's the first place I go if I want clear confirmation on whether something's tameable or not. Saves me a load of time.

I think it's necessary. If for example the Sapphire Hive Queen simply wasn't mentioned here, people wouldn't know if she's untamable or if she was simply forgotten. Queue people coming on the forums asking about her over and over and over again

They are there for a reason and quite frankly I don't see why they would annoy you so much.
Re: Untamable pets, why are they on your site?
This is the reason they are there. Saves you the trouble of looking to see if something is tameable or not. Or would you rather fly out there and find out yourself?.Agravaine wrote:Yeah, like me. There are a lot of reasons to have "untameables" shown. If you find one you like, you might be lucky and be able to find the same skin/pet as a tameable!
It's also useful to explain pets that some people have, but others cannot get now, such as Gezz, etc.

They are also very clearly marked as untambeable. It's not like it hurt's you or anyone else that they are up there.

Re: Untamable pets, why are they on your site?
I REALLY appreciate the fact that this site has untameable pets on it, it makes a nice place to conglomerate information to give to Blizz about pets we'd like added/skins we'd like added and also cool stories about pets that used to be tameable and/or have interesting histories.
I'm sorry you can't parse through the clearly-marked tameable and untameable pets, but just because you can't use something doesn't mean it's not useful to anyone else.

I really want to report this post because at this point you're just being belligerent.Agravaine wrote:Er... thanks for rephrasing my point?Slickrock wrote:This is the reason they are there. Would you rather come to this site and not see a creature, and have NO IDEA if it was tameable or not, or come and see that it was untameable?

Re: Untamable pets, why are they on your site?
Why would you....report that? You pretty much just completely said what they said. It kind of sounded like you were trying to argue against Agra, even though you agreed with them. It's definitely not a reason to report some one.
Re: Untamable pets, why are they on your site?
Umm.. lemme make this clear... if you can't look here to see that they aren't tameable, then how will you know, without flying out there yourself?Agravaine wrote:Er... thanks for rephrasing my point?Slickrock wrote:This is the reason they are there. It also cuts way down on questions like "is this tameable?".
Finally, it helps when you want to browse through and find a tameable version of a skin that might be untameable elsewhere.

We both disagree with the OP.
You said exactly what I did.
With different words.
Twice now.

Re: Untamable pets, why are they on your site?
I like the untamable listing.
You come across a beats you REALLY like, but find it can not be tamed, you come here, find the skin, and see just WHAT beats under it can and can not be tamed. So your not wasting your time asking if 'this beast on this map that not on the list is tamable or not'
It's best to have EVERY beast under the skin listed for that reason.

Re: Untamable pets, why are they on your site?
I like seeing things that can't be tamed personally.
Re: Untamable pets, why are they on your site?
Actually I think there are now at least three of you arguing about your agreement.
I just wanted to add that, in a beta in particular, many many many beasts start out as untameable and then are quietly made tameable later in the beta. By listing the untameable beta pets:
1) You can see what might be coming up that you are interested in, and keep an eye on that in particular, and
2) It makes the site a lot easier for me to update since all the info except the tameable flag is there already.
This is an explanation for Azeza - I suspect most of the rest of you have seen me say this before.

That was the impression I got, it all seemed like they were agreeing with each other in disagreeable ways, if that makes any sense.

Re: Untamable pets, why are they on your site?
i think meun was talking bout reproting the OP... i could be wrong. But like everyone said
" seeing the untamable is nice because you can look for the skin you want and if the one pet you were gonna go after is not tamable you can find out where else it is and go there intead of flying somewhere when you cant get it."
all in all- having untamable pets is a good idea. everyone feels the op is wrong and having the un tamable pets listed is a good idea... end of said story
