Thousand Needles serpents really now red and olive
Please, gods, let me find no new pets. Can't... handle... overload....
Anyway, whether the previous report of extremely rare red and green serpents in Thousand Needles was real, or whether someone at Blizzard read that and is now having a joke with it...
The two serpent colours around the rim of Thousand Needles now seem to be entirely the previously-untameable red and bright green colours. Either that or my eyes are going from staring at the screen for hours...
Here's me with SerpentSkinViolet, the new skin of the Needlespine Shimmerback: And a good look at its back once tamed: And the same for the bright green one, the Needlespine Cobra, which is SerpentSkinOlive: You can see those colours in the pics, right? I'm not going crazy?

Awesome Wain!
One request. Is there a possibility of you wanting to look if there's mobs with Aurokk/Silithid Worker skin/model tamable now? Pweasee?!

I don't know what "Aurokk" is, as I can't find it in Wowhead, but by "worker" do you mean the kind of 6-legged spidery model of silithid? The only ones of those that I've found to be beasts so far were in Tanaris and had diets but were untameable. Even the ones in the renovated hive in Thousand Needles weren't beasts.Qraljar wrote:Awesome Wain!

Ahh! Thanks alot! Yeah, with Aurokk and Worker I meant those;
http://cata.wowhead.com/npc=15290
Their models are called ''Aurokk'' or something.
And bah. Shame
Let's hope the Silithid Swarmer still has the skin

I JUST tamed one of these to post this info lol, I was fairly certain it's a new tameable color, a copy of the noncombat pet.

One does wonder whether some very kind person at Blizzard saw all the hours people wasted after the hoax, noted that the skins mentioned weren't available but that the skins already used in the Needles were, and did a little switch. That we should get these skins so quickly after the hoax, and in the relevant place, seems a bizarre coincidence otherwise.

Same could be said about the Silithud Colossi and the many hunters who went after it.The Insect Man wrote:One does wonder whether some very kind person at Blizzard saw all the hours people wasted after the hoax, noted that the skins mentioned weren't available but that the skins already used in the Needles were, and did a little switch.
