What the devs probably didn't think about was that they all share the same id! They're now tameable, and when you tame one, for example the red spider form: You get a pet that is always classed as a beetle, but when you summon it, it could randomly appear in the form of a beetle: Or a scorpid: Or a red spider: I've reported it as a bug, but it's a rather cool one as far as skin changers go

No, it's in the beta. Since 4.0.1 went live, pretty much everything posted in this forum is to do with beta nowAntares wrote:Is this in-game now? This is awesome!

Laugh, you're probably right!!Kalliope wrote:LOL! Some dev is probably going to look at that report and grumble "That's why they weren't tameable in the first place!"

Re: [13195] Mighty morphing power pet!
Because beta testing is a responsibility to report anomalies you find, and not an opportunity to hide and hoard fun bugs for your future amusement. Anyone who behaves differently should have passed over their beta key for someone who can make real use of it. Perhaps they want to keep it the way it is, but I was obliged to report it anyway.Makoes wrote:Why would you report this?!?

Re: [13195] Mighty morphing power pet!
Carrion Swarmers in Dire Maul are now untameable.
I still have my three-model pet in beta, but it has no skills, can't be talented, etc. etc.
