Silver Wolf

Hey guys! I was roaming around Feralas yesterday (truth be told, me and a guildmate, both 80 horde, had run around with a flagged 47 Alliance char just for lols--from Barrens to Stonetalon to Desolace through Feralas), bored. I had an itch to tame something random, so when a silver Longtooth Runner bolted up to me, I figured I'd give him a shot. I'd always wanted to try one of the gray wolves.

The FIRST THING HE DID was to turn around and one-shot Snarler, who'd apparently wandered up behind me during the tame. I was rather upset--Snarler's another pet of mine and a long-time fave, who I'd tamed as soon as I hit 42. I was shocked at the ferocity--I'd spam-clicked Passive but the wolf just killed him anyway.

So my first impression of this wolf is that it is fierce, cold and fearless, perhaps determined. The second is his color--he is the color of clouds or frost, or steel, or ice.

I'd like something that combines the two, somehow, or that encompasses one or the other in meaning. I went through my normal name generator and a thesaurus to brainstorm but I just can't find the right name. I'm also not as familiar with some people here with astrological things, like constellation names etc, which might be a nice direction to go. I also wouldn't turn down anything demonic or ghostly.

Ferrum or Ferro is Latin for iron, and also sounds similar to 'feral'.

And yeah--I was considering actually naming him Feral, but that's MY name My rogue, shaman etc all start with that, and it's my tagname in most places XD

I correlate the name with silvers and blues. Likely has to do with a villian in a TV show I watch.

Well, it took me a few days to decide, but in the end, I sat with a thesaurus for awhile and went from Vice and Malice (one made me think of the other), which led me through a billion synonyms for "crime" to words for "hitman" etc, to "outlaw" words--and I found and settled on Renegade.

I may end up using Vice for another pet, though, that's really quite a good name
