I dont understand WoWModelViewer :/

I would love to make some amazing animated signatures that incorperate several monsters together but I dont exactly know how.

Also, I kept downloading WoWModelViewer in the past but it would bug out and self-delete itself so only an icon remained... where do you guys download it from?

WoW Model Viewer can only open one model at a time. Any picture you see with multiple models (like my sig) are done in a computer art program like photoshop or GIMP.

Awesome, thank you ^^ btw do you pay for Photoshop or that.. er.. GIMP program thing (never heard of it before lol)? i use Paint.net which is a free half n half of photoshop and paint program but i dont think it can do what you guys can do

Mine would never open, I had no idea what was wrong with it (or what I was doing wrong) so I just un-installed it.

Yes you have to buy Photoshop but its totally worth every cent. We use CS5 at animation school and its wonderfull. For colouring I'd advise a tablet for best use as useing a mouse can lead to heath problems.

Sometimes modelveiwer wont work if it can't get to the wow data itself.

I know here in new zealand if your a student (as in uni) you can get photoshop and all adobe stuff for cheap at a student price I don't know if where ever you live does that.

I live near Vancouver, BC Canada, never really looked into it much but i knew a teacher in my highschool that bought her tablet for like 1.4k @_@

If you'd rather not sell your soul for Photoshop, GIMP is completely free and works just as well, if not better. :P I also hear Paint Tool SAI has a 30 day trial, but you'll have to pay for it afterwards.

Edit: I got my tablet for around $150 a while back. It's several years old and pretty small as far as tablets go, but I love it and it's been really reliable. Definitely worth saving up for/begging for, but there are some amazing mouse artists out there. :P

My husband bought me a tablet for Christmas, it came with Photoshop and Corel Painter. Sometimes bundles like this appear, it's good to keep your eyes open! ^_^

I have one too. Got it as a Christmas present one year. I use Corel Essentials for my doodlings, and while they're never the quality of WMV, it's still fun.

I should pick up WMV for giggles though. Probably would mean I wouldn't need Petopia for ref. pics. xD

Yes, this! It kept asking which WoW folder I wanted it to use, so naturally I said my regular WoW (and not the beta I still have installed). It would kinda-sorta open, like I'd see a splash logo behind the window, and then.....nothing. Nothing at all happened. It's like it just kept closing itself. It was terribly frustrating so I just got fed up and yanked it all back out.

I'll definitely keep GIMP in mind (and play around with it for a while till i get the hang of it) and will do when i get money (currently job searching /sigh) look around in stores and on the web, maybe crags list for some tablet bundles ty everyone for your help ^^
