Re: Need help finding a rare? Check here first!
What about Teremus the Devourer? I just got to 15 (don't sue me I'm new) and couldn't tame him. Is this a level thing or do I have to get him to a certain health? If I can't tame him, is there some dragon-ish thing I can tame? The dragons you have mentioned are not tameable at all, the closest we g...

Hi there, you want to put the monkey in the very last position! The last slot will be the secondary pet when you summon your first.

Oof, it's tough seeing it graphed out like this!
I suppose they can't infinitely add more families but....there should at least be one!!

Re: Oil coated wolf in the now
I still have my sha-corrupted crocolisk, it's the only trick tame that had interested me back in the day. He's intact but like others said, it's to risky to use them ever. We're just not sure what might accidentally wipe the buff. It's also a shame that whatever coding the Animal Companion talent us...

Re: The War Within Beta - Beasts Thread
I'm very sad about our cool worm buddies. :( I feared it was inevitable they'd be fixed because of how unintended their movement was on the ground, but the longer they stayed the more hopeful I felt, and this could be personal bias speaking but I don't even think they looked terrible, maybe somethin...

Re: The War Within Beta - Beasts Thread
I'm finding Growl to be less effective too. There were some elites I was fighting in Hallowfall that seemed IMMUNE to growl at all, it didn't do a thing to keep them off of me. Overall it's definitely harder for my pet to tank it feels.

Re: We still cannot tame Brutosaurs?
I'm surprised we don't have them either! They seem similar enough to the WoD Hydra models that their sizing down doesn't strike me as an issue, I love how much personality their faces have, I'm still hoping that one day they might be added.

Re: The War Within Beta - Beasts Thread
I don't know the difficulties in implementing this, but I really wish we had a way to cosmetically toggle pets that can fly or walk on the ground, there's quite a few now and sometimes it changes the entire feel of a pet whether it's in the air or grounded.

Re: 2024 Cataclysm Updates
I'm not sure if he's planning to, but I will mention that Wayne manages this site and Warcraft Mounts (and does both on his own). I think right now there's just a bad timing overlap with The War Within alpha being in full swing. He's got a lot of models and data to gather for the new expansion, so C...

Re: Anything for Cata Classic
I'm sure Wayne is quite busy dealing with The War Within alpha and the influx of new models there, that's probably the higher priority right now. He runs both Petopia and Warcraft Mounts, and while I wouldn't say Cata is necessarily off the table, Classic players might just have to be a bit more pat...

Re: The War Within Beta - Beasts Thread
I'm so in love with these bat models!! I think they're the best the game has had so far.
I also hope there can still be wild versions even if they end up being druid forms, it wouldn't be unheard of if you look back at some of the Zandalari druid forms sharing looks with wild scalehides.

It sounds like the Mudskippers will be tameable too!

Re: Hunter Stable Updates in 10.2.7
I do hope there will be a way to keep a functioning one-page grid addon, since they can be really useful in some situations and I'd like to keep the option, but at least the new revamp looks amazing otherwise.

Re: Hunter Stable Updates in 10.2.7
I love this so much! I'm used to my small compact grid addon but I think I'll actually turn it off for the update, this is just such a nice visual stable and I love the sorting and previews that are built in.

Re: Naleidea Rivergleam.
The purple raven is not a pet look that's obtainable for players. The closest you could get is summoning a regular crow/raven pet and using the Spirit Wand toy on it, but that makes it a blue ghost instead of purple.

Re: Anyone miss the older models?
I found another nice model improvement with an off-putting example, it’s the bone and gracile spiders. The way the eyes are placed are so weird, like it has no head as opposed to the older models. The tarantulas look great so no criticism for those at all, but those are weird. The bodies and legs f...

Re: Handicapped pets, or ones that could pass for handicapped?
Hmm, interesting concept! And tricky to find ideas for. My first thought was some of the saddled or armored creatures, you could headcanon that they're wearing some sort of accessibility equipment, or a harness, similar to how disabled dogs can have wheelchairs. Nothing's going to quite look like th...

Their AI has come a long way, these are intelligent NPCs that will switch roles and take actions accordingly, but you get to set the pace. Here's an overview from someone on youtube if you're interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=48iZykPu4ys&pp=ygUOYWkgZHVuZ2VvbiB3b3c%3D While I don't mind...

Re: Help an old man catch up please.
Either way, it is not likely I'll be doing anything of current dungeon:ish nature, as I can no longer endure the stress and mental fatigue of random groupings, it's either with guildmates (which I don't have) or solo, so I'm okay to remain 1-2 expansions behind current content where I can go at my ...
