As far as I can tell, there are three types of people playing MMOs (when it comes to this discussion):

1. People who see their character as a respresentation of themselves.
2. Peole who use their character to roleplay.
3. People who see their character as a tool to preform actions in the game ...

I... kind of do this. there are just so many awesome animals out there, and you can't have them all out at once anyway, so I tend to chose some signature pets for each of my hunters. However, it's more then just matching a pet to my character's hair color. I tend to first chose a pet family I think ...

Personally I really like the blue one, and the grey Takk one, both would suit your character with her dark hair. There's a mini-pet with the takk skin as well, so you can have your pet's offspring/sibling running after you when you have your pet out, which looks adorable.

For Worgen and Undead I try to come up with names that sound like old english names. For females that would be names ending in -beth, -lina, -dora, -lyn and so on. Then I add a prefix from a different name so the name won't be taken, like Sarabeth, Annadora, Ellalyn, Marlina, Lilibeth and so on ...

Amazons are boring, and so '60s-'70s B-movie!
Go for Archaeology geek, it sounds like a lot more fun and like a more believeable character.

Loque popped up exactly an hour after I killed King Krush (no hunter on my server wanted KK, the poor thing). that was 2 days ago on my server.

I'm on Darkmoon Faire too, Alliance only. My hunter's name is Miriadriel, but I have several alts who have a variety of classes and levels as well.

I think I'll start with rescueing a Blackrock Battle Worg, the Blackrock orcs seem to use them as cannon fodder and the poor things look starved.
