Re: Unlisted Pet: Guardian of the Leaf

It is listed tameable via Beast Lore, but is already controlled by the rare NPC Ratgusher. I wish that they did a fun easter egg where if you kill the NPC in control of a pet, the pet becomes tameable. Cause like, if I killed its master, it's not bound to said master anymore. But I know that'd be a...

Re: Hunters Mark in Delves

It's the Bioprint Curio of Brann's. I reported it in the Bug Report forums a few days ago and the people there narrowed it down to the curio. It also makes Frost Trap aggro, and apparently extends to other things like Imprison for DH and such. Things that SHOULDN'T be aggroing.

Re: Patch 11.1

Not to be dismissive of it but I'd keep the specs. You never know when they might decide to turn it back to families again. If I recall, the last time they put them back, they changed most of the families pets belonged to. Like Cranes were Ferocity and now are Cunning, if I recall as an example. Wh...

I still think Deepflayers was an easy pet family they could have done for War Within instead of not giving us one. Lol.

Hell, Dire Beast calls them lol.

Do Dracthyr start with the ability to tame Dragonkin?

Someone on Reddit asked a question and I actually don't know. AFAIK, it's account wide so I don't know how to test that myself. I normally rely on the petopia family pages as it will have a blurb under the thing saying so, but for Lesser Dragonkin it only mentions the book. Did we ever check if they...

Re: Patch 11.1 bugs and tame suggestions

I don't know if 11.1 fixes it, but on live, Tephratennae is still exotic, despite being a Wasp.

Wowhead says it is no longer listed as tameable at all in 11.1, so kinda worried about that.

Re: Patch 11.0.7 New possible pets?

Dunno if anyone else has been waiting, but Tephratennae (https://www.wowhead.com/npc=221126/teph ... e#comments) is still flagged exotic despite being a Wasp.

I just wanna use my pretty bee, blizzard ;_;

At the cost of 1 of our specs losing the ability to use pets at all. >_>

Re: New Spirit Beast "Aradan" in the Rookery

It is entirely possible that someone just figured it out or stumbled onto it, and it is still also possible that someone tamed Aradan in an unintended way, like Nah'qi. I am leaning toward the latter since if you did tame it in the intended way of doing so, then you shouldn't be against saying how ...

Re: The War Within Beta - Beasts Thread

Some of the removals I understand. Like the Worgen (they were planning to make them tameable, and thus completely sentient/sapient). The Slime (not an actual animal, though I dont know why they were allowed to keep them). Etc. But others I just don't get. The ghost crocodile? We have multiple undead...

Re: The War Within Beta - Beasts Thread

I'm finding Growl to be less effective too. :( There were some elites I was fighting in Hallowfall that seemed IMMUNE to growl at all, it didn't do a thing to keep them off of me. Overall it's definitely harder for my pet to tank it feels. It's because most elites ARE immune to growl in War Within....

Re: The War Within Beta - Beasts Thread

Also, note, if you tame Tephratennae as Marksman (and presumably) Survival, it doesn't disappear when you tame. So you can tame it multiple times then kill it. You have to summon another pet, then dismiss it between tames though, as Teph is set as your active pet when you tame. I really wish they di...

Re: The War Within Beta - Beasts Thread

Here's how to tame Aradan: throw an entire Earthen at him. Not just a clump of beard hair, but a full Earthen. Surely that'll work! Joke aside, Aradan's mystery is quite the thing. Either it's too obscure to figure out just yet, or it's probably not implemented. Wouldn't be the first time something...

Re: The War Within Beta - Beasts Thread

The worm getting fixed makes sense, I'm always disappointed when things like the salamander are fixed. I really hope they revert it. Doubtful. Blizzard doesn't like babies being tamed. Best case scenario is the model doesn't get reverted because they're busy, they will likely never be reflagged unl...

Minor, but there's another untameable version of this skin.

Name is "Bytta" and is for the quest Buckets and Blooms.

Sad too, was hoping you could tame and it'd keep the bucket on its head.

Re: The War Within Beta - Beasts Thread

Ah, wow. Where you can send babies to battle to the death against each other and sometimes against regular beasts (some legendary pets). But taming it as an ever faithful companion crosses the line.
