I was actually wondering when this change would eventually happen tbh. As an old timer who remembers leveling some pets for 40-50 odd levels I welcome this change heh, I'm too old for all this running around leveling stuff now.

I've had Blazewing go off a few times before too however I don't think it's actually Blazewing that's triggering it, it's just too far away. I'm thinking it's a bug related to someone with the Ashes of Al'ar or possibly the new Dark Phoenix mount. There is no way NPCscan could pick it up from Uldum ...

I would have to say Loque is my fave, there's something about the vocal pets that I love. Skoll was my favorite before I found Loque though. These days I find myself using Karoma the most being one of the new "shiny" pets I guess. I really like Ghostcrawler too but man I lose sight of him ...

Grats on your tame, I'm sure you'll think of a name that you like. I would definitely pop back in at around the 6 and 12 hour marks now that you know where to start. I actually tamed my first Jadefang spawn too and then got the mini pet 12 hours later if that's any help.

I don't think they were a griefer at all, griefers usually do things to ruin other peoples enjoyment with no personal gain to themselves (well apart from the obvious). Terroepene was probably my most stressful tame of Cata. Having a near static spawn location is both a blessing and and curse, It took me 10 hours of straight camping for him to finally spawn. When you have 4-5 other hunters plus the random flybys looking for him you have to be on your guard constant...
