I see a lot of hunters from other factions messing with enemy hunters for kicks. They generally don't stick around for you to see them so my guess would be someone did a walk by and hearthed knowing you would get all excited. People can be evil, you would think a fellow hunter would understand!

I didn't find him to difficult once I figured out a good rotation. I shot him, waited about a second, disengaged, hit him with a silencing shot, hit deterrence and started taming. After 3 weeks of floating around Deepholm it finally spawned right on top of me. Couldn't of been more thrilled so I put together a little video on my blog which includes the fight incase anyone is interested in seeing how it's done.

It took me 3 nights to get TLPD but that of course was on chance and luck. If you're on a high populated server then I suggest "camping" at night. I also did a /who Storm Peaks to see if any other 85's where in the area before I would camp, not that it should matter but always good to know...

I wish they would give special spawns like this a unique skin. It's a shame some of these beauties blend in with some of the not so rares. Just my opinion.

The worst DPS spec is the only one that makes the coolest looking pets relevant. I really hope BM becomes the best DPS spec again someday, my poor Loque is getting stiff from being in the stable all the time.

I actually left him for last thinking it was going to be the worst of all camps but I did half a lap and the NPCscan went off. I was almost disappointed. I don't get the same feeling taming as I do after camping a pet for 15 hours straight.

Anyone disappointed at how small he is when tamed? It was a little disappointing after a 2 day camp, he barely stands out in my opinion. Maybe I'm just too picky.
