Re: Show some respect people!
I don't mind the long camps, really. The one thing I REALLY hate though is cross-realm zones. During my 50-something hours of camping for Trigore, I saw several other people who also camped with me for pretty long periods of time. Not a single one of them was from my realm. I chose to go to Turalyon...

Re: Trigore the Lasher
Just tamed on Turalyon at 6:04 AM. NPCscan didn't work for me though, and I downloaded the latest version earlier tonight. I got the warning as soon as I moused over him, but he spawned right in front of me with no warning until that mouseover.

Re: Trigore the Lasher
I deleted my entire old npcscan file from my addons files and re-downloaded the updated version. They updated npcscan for the new patch :) The way I understood it was that Blizzard altered how their entire cache system worked, so NPCscan would never work that way again. So was that untrue - you did...

Re: Trigore the Lasher
Wait, I thought Blizzard altering the cache system meant that NPC scan wouldn't give warnings anymore. How'd you get it to work again?

Re: Angered Arakkoa Protector.
I've got the fire boar, lone hunter with sword, and both oily pets, but I never got around to taming one of these until tonight after reading that keeping their glow was still possible. I can confirm that it is still possible to tame an Angered Arakkoa Protector with the blue mist effect. The thing ...

Re: Another (perfectly safe!) trick-tame
Grats on your success! I've actually been trying to tame him for the past few days as well, but I fudged my first two tries. Haven't seen him again since.

Re: Question about the oil-covered hawk/wolf
I'm not talking about the debuff on the wolf itself, I'm talking about the debuff that the wolf places on its target called Oily Coat, which reduces its hit by 20%. http://www.wowhead.com/spell=50280. I doubt it would work on bosses of any kind, but still, it's technically an advantage over other wo...

Question about the oil-covered hawk/wolf
From what I've heard, taming "glitch pets" like the flaming boar is fine, and not bannable, because they don't bring any bonus stats or abilities, as opposed to blighthounds. Well, I recently tamed both oil-covered pets, and I heard that they have some kind of debuff placed on their target...
