Woot! As an update, after 11 hours of sitting there my NPC scan went off and my heart just dropped hahaha. As an ilvl 352 hunter, I didn't use any tricks to tame him and still had 80k hp, so for anyone at level 85 with decent gear its really easy if you can wait it out. Terropene spawned at 8:05 PST...

I've spent countless hours camping Terrorpene and lost him to other hunters twice. I'm fine with that, but there is this one hunter on my server (opposing faction) who terrorizes me even though he has the pet already....now that is frustrating!
