Krosh, the Green Spiked Dragon Turtle made those thundering sounds also when I tamed him. I released him shortly after because of that.

I agree, Terrorpene has the "cool" factor but Bloodtooth has the "badass" factor. He just looks ready for battle and is not taking crap from anyone!

Here is another helpful hint: Have a spot available to tame the beast you are tracking because if you flare it, trap it and try to tame it without an open slot it de-spawns and all its tracks fade away. =(
