Nope, just got one on normal. Reset it a few times, I think the shadow chargers and felsteeds share spawns.FeralBetaKitten wrote: ↑Tue Oct 13, 2020 10:58 pmI had it on heroic. I'll try on normal

Re: Hunter Pet head-turning behavior
I never played around on the PTR, but now that it's live... this is atrocious. I don't like keeping my pet out now. I just tamed a cloud serpent and it looked awful, especially when moving. WoW models can already have some pretty severe warping issues once they start moving, but when the head is tur...

Re: Shadowlands Pet Bugs & Suggestions
The Roughback Leapers found in Nazmir would make a fine addition to the toad family. It seems they're already part of it, just aren't flagged tameable? There are other toads that also use this model, but I don't remember their exact names and locations. https://www.wowhead.com/npc=120572/roughback-l...

Re: [IDEAS] Pet Family Rework for Shadowlands
I'm all for exotic pets being done away with. BM hunters should just get some other skill that makes their pets better, as many others here have stated. Something, perhaps, like making spirit bond an ability available to all their pets? Or the talent that improves family abilities becoming baseline....

Re: Anyone know what happened to this model?
Really wish they'd bring it back. It always reminded me of the spitter raptors from that weird 2008 Turok reboot.

Re: BiS Pets
Broken Tooth is your best bet for most PVP situations. A wind serpent is my go to for world content, though a bat or owl would be a close second. They do good damage and tank well with their AOE attack power debuff. A wolf might be good for some groups because of their party buff for melee DPS. I ty...

Re: 8.3 Taming List
I'll add those things to the unofficial family category. I've already taken shots of the wicker creatures, but I'll get pics of the skeletal/undead ones too. What do we have, apart from skeletal raptors, skeletal Zandalari raptor, skeletal Zand. devilsaurs, skeletal windserpent, skeletal hippogryph...

Re: 8.3 Taming List
I'm still a little surprised that the Roughback Leapers and similar toads/frogs haven't been made available. Their model would be fine for a hunter pet I think, they have a working mouth and tongue!

Re: 8.3 Taming List
I really hope they make grubs tameable eventually i want a big worm following me I hope so, too. I think they currently are against it because the updated model for the classic grub model uses the basilisk skeleton and therefore lacks a burrowing animation, while their family ability is to burrow d...

Re: 8.3 Taming List
Taming the Celestials might be too much, if only for the fact that it could break something on the Timeless Isle. Since they're never supposed to technically die but are only brought to 1 HP, who knows if they're even set to respawn? Fixing that would require more than just ticking the "tameable" bo...

Re: 8.3 Taming List
If I wanna get Blaithe and the quest NPC Choluna isnt at its location then that means ive already completed the quest and need someone to spawn it for me I assume? Yes. You'll have to use party sync and have someone else summon for you. Luckily, the quest to summon Blaithe isn't very far in and can...

Re: Does anyone run Uldir anymore?
You can pretty easily get to Zul on normal with 6-8 people, provided you have at least a tank and healer and everyone has decent enough gear. Try listing your own group if you don't see one, advertise in trade, etc. We did that about a week ago for a friend of mine, didn't even really take 30 minute...

Re: 8.3 Taming List
I didn't see it mentioned anywhere, so forgive me if I missed it, but neither Anzu nor Blaithe from Mount Hyjal quests can be tamed, but they DO have families.

Re: Special Pets (functional)
I believe it was 1.6 that normalized pets? Attack speeds might not be the exact same across the board, but the DPS will be roughly the same regardless. I don't think any pets have unique move speeds anymore (Mazzranache) and nothing crazy like extra resistances or Lupos' shadow damage.

Re: The 2 main pet that you choose
Probably a wind serpent and a bear. Wind serpent was the first pet I tamed and kept when I started playing after I stumbled upon the Wailing Caverns way back when. They do pretty decent damage and are cool mechanically and visually. And I just love bears. Bears will also eat basically anything and a...

Re: 8.2 Beasts
I'm 90% sure it's already been said here, but the Colossal Sky Ray can be reached with gliders. I just wanted to re-iterate because the one comment on Wowhead tells you to use the Gnomish Gravity Well, which is only available to engineers who spec'd into gnomish engineering. Start in the southwest a...

Re: #saveourstriders
I personally don't feel like it's that big of an issue. Being able to walk on water is infinitely more useful than being able to pick herbs without dismounting, in my opinion, so I can see why they cut the ability out. Sure, it'll kinda sting to not have access to it at lower levels, but I'm excited...

Tidal Guardians look like worms, the only thing making me think they won't be classified in the worm family is during the stream the guy mentioned them shooting lightning, right now, worms don't do that. While true, and please feel free to correct me because I haven't re-watched the stream, the way...

I am SO down for this "bobbit worm crossed with anomalocaris with electrified antennae" beastie. As much as I'd wet my pants in joy if we get anomalocaridid pets, battle or otherwise, where do you see traits of one? That's just a normal chitinous look, unless I'm not seeing lobes and/or great appen...
