The really nice thing about Charge+Gore is that it front-loads a bunch of pet damage. Even if other pets do more sustained DPS, having a pet that does a lot of damage up-front helps him hold aggro and allows you to open up with a good, powerful shot without stealing the aggro from him at the start ...
