Yeah that'd be great. I often find a lot of pets I like too big.
Like the newly tameable skunks. They're way too big.

Any news on if Flarendo and Torq will be tameable come Midnight?

The only wish I have is for the ability to change our pets' specs.

Honestly, without an overhaul of the pet system and restoring the ability for us to choose the spec for our pets, the vast majority of tames is null and void.
I really really hope Blizzard is finally going to do something about this.

Unfortunately all these new awesome looking tames are worthless without a way to re-spec our pets.

Because I thoroughly enjoy playing BM and I wouldn't want that playstyle messed with too much, honestly.

So with many pets being really big, is this a bug? I hope it is.

My personal 'want' list:

I want a Bakar for sure, probably 2, maybe 3 variations.
A brown Ottuk.
One or more Flowering Crystalspines.
A gold or red Slyvern.
A pink salamanther with gills.
A blue and green Peafowl.
Maybe a beaver, if the model is scaled down; they're ...

I wish that the Pet summoned from Companion Pet talent mathes with the placement of our summoned beast; for example the 1st Call Pet slot would make Pet Companion to summon pet from the first slot from our stable, the 2nd call pet slot summons the 2nd stabled pet, the third pet slot active summons ...

I get that. They don't appeal to me either.
They seem off. A bit like they just pasted a dragon type head onto a kodo.

Thankfully there's various great looking models in DF.

Get rid of pet specs completely, and have the pet abilities based on the hunter's spec. BM would get the tankier abilities, MM would get the snipy assistant pets, and SV would get a hybrid of those two.

More I think about it, I really like this idea.. everyone can tame anything but the pet's ...

Here's an idea:

Let all hunter specs tame all pets.

Give BM these exclusive things:

- A unique 'mastery' skill for all pets. Doesn't have to be huge, just a nice little extra thing that only BM hunter pets have.
- The ability to (re)spec their pets. The other hunter specs would not be able to do ...
